You’ll wake up every morning to the low, sweeping branches of beautiful Live Oak trees everyday at Chatham Square Hideaway. Tucked away on beautiful Chatham Square, this cozy, ground-floor apartment is the perfect getaway off the beaten path. This comfortable retreat has everything you’ll need to feel right at home, all within steps to Savannah's famous Forsyth Park, and Monterey Square.

After a long day of exploring Savannah's Historic District, curl up on the couch or one of several comfortable armchairs in the gathering room. Whether you're catching up on your favorite shows on the smart television, or playing a game of cards with your party, you'll have an ample amount of space to relax together.

Just off of the gathering space, you'll find a full bathroom with a luxurious marble walk-in shower, and large vanity - perfect for washing the day away or getting ready for a day on the town! Also off of this space, guests will find two plush twin bed perfect for traveling singles or children. The apartment also features a private bedroom, that is fitted with a king-sized bed, with plenty of closet and drawer space for you to unpack for your stay.

Brew a cup of coffee in the kitchenette at the back of the apartment, and enjoy the Savannah mornings on your own private brick patio. The outdoor space is a serene place to seize the evening away, whether you are enjoying a home-cooked meal or glass of wine with your guests.

Property location was great. The place was clean and comfortable. I had called the property manager to request wifi password, which she said was in the book, but was not. I had been told that I would get info on things to do in the area 24 hrs prior to my arrrival. Did not received, so I requested it again on our first full day and still have not receive anything. I would recommend providing a map of the city and recommendations for local attractions for guests. Other than that, it is a charming place to stay in a nice residential section of this beautiful city.

Loved being in the Historic District
Overall, we had a good stay. My granddaughter and family would come over in the evening, and we would have order-in dinners. There were plenty of places to sit, which would not have been the case in a hotel. The outside patio is great, although July is hot, and the no-see-ums and mosquitos would run us back inside. The remodeled bathroom is great and easy for the elderly. However, the king-size bed was too high for my 87-year-old husband to climb into, which is sad because that bed was pretty comfortable. The twin beds need to be replaced; they have outlived their usefulness by at least 5 years, but we purchased a foam egg carton, and that helped somewhat. The decor is nice and the whole place was fairly clean except for the rugs. The refrigerator is awful. It's way too small, and the mini freezer compartment doesn't work properly. We purchased a bag of ice every other day so we could enjoy a cold drink. The built-in microwave didn't work, but they brought a countertop model and a broom, which I requested, right away. However, there wasn't enough room on the small countertop top, so we just went without it. Hopefully, they will fix the built-in micro for the next guests. Forsyth Park is wonderful and less than a block away, so we enjoyed that and the easy trip to the Savannah River, and all the fun things to do there! We rented a car and purchased a parking pass for about $12 per day. We had a good time despite the issues with the beds and appliances and loved Savannah!

So easy
Accommodations were pretty and comfortable but best of all was shady parking just yards from the door. Metered (not expensive) yes, but most of our stay was during hours that no pay was necessary. Quiet street close to public transport but the easy parking made it convenient to just jump in our car. Small refrigerator but plenty roomy for our short stay.

Bring your own everything
Four day stay for two ladies--apt had one face cloth, two cheap rolls of TP, one sliver of soap, no dishwasher, no cloth to wash dishes, and the worst teeny bottles of shampoo--which couldn't lather to bathe with. The place is pretty and comfortable--if you bring everything else with you.

Great stay!
This is a good location for walking anywhere in the historic area. The pictures are accurate, the antique type decor perfect. The furniture is very comfortable, both leather chairs recline! The primary bedroom is spacious, bed comfy and the closet is huge. There’s lots of storage throughout. The bathroom is also large and the shower is wonderful. The kitchen is small and fridge is smaller but was enough for the two of us for 5 days. The pots & pans are good quality & in great shape & there’s pretty much everything else you would need to cook. The apt sleeps 4 but I don’t know how it would be for 2 couples as you have to go through the extra BR to get to the kitchen. The kitchen table seats 2 but the outside table is nice and large if the weather is good. The back porch is covered, another plus. We didn’t have any trouble finding a place to park on the street. I recommend the Park Savannah app. The hosts were super easy to work with, responded promptly. I would book with them again.

The location was close to everything. It was a great walking safe neighborhood filled with beautiful Georgian homes. The street parking was a breeze and having an outdoor space was an added bonus. Beds were comfy and the space for three guests perfect. We will return.❤️
