Overall the stay was fine. But, we were disappointed when we arrived and learned they did not have a POOL as the pictures had indicated. They had taken it out years ago to put in a fitness center. The front desk person only said "the owners have been trying to take that picture down for a few years..." They did not offer any concessions or free items. My son was disappointed. The hotel put us on the first floor. By 630am, there was a fair amount of noise in the hallway. It almost sounded like metal carts with metal pans hitting a bump and clanking all over. It happened at least five times. Finally, the general upkeep of the hotel was so-so. Lots of apparent knicks in the wood that need to be reapainted/re-stained. The shower head needed some plumbing help as it was spraying water into the ceiling at certain angles.

Unless you have no other choice, don’t stay at this place. The positives: the location The night manager and most of the staff The pics of the room on Expedia are 10x better than the actual rooms The GM and the day manager don’t know the meaning of the word hospitality and I will never stay at this place again. Too many great hotels with competent management in Savannah.

Es ist relativ zentral gelegen, in die Stadt braucht man zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Genauso zum Bahnhof.
