We walked everywhere and its location worked wonderfully. The only issue was the garage door is loud and the group staying in the main house left early and woke us. They had breakfast in the courtyard that woke us as well. We met them and they were lovely people. If you’re planning to sleep in you may want to rethink this place. Also, it took us a bit to find it. A friendly neighbor had to help us and that added to the pleasure of the visit. We had a fun time. This place worked pretty well for us.

Perfect location

Has garage parking for one car which is a plus in Savannah. Parked and was able to walk to river where the action is. This property is in historic district. It was once the carriage house. Enjoyed our stay!

Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. The location was great and we even got to watch a homecoming parade from the windows. The garage space was perfect and we really didn't have to move our car once we parked. It was clean and comfortable.

I agree not having a pull out sofa is nothing to complain about.
We don't list having one and I would think if a guest "expected" it, he could have asked before arrival.

Perfect location!
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved our stay—the location can’t be beat, the beds are comfortable, and the space was very clean. The covered parking spot is a wonderful bonus! We would absolutely stay here again!

Savannah in July
Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were disappointed with the location of the vrbo. Internet was poor and slow, could not stream TV. Bed made noise whenever you rolled over.
We left a day early.

Savannah stay!
Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time staying here. It was in a very convenient location in the north historic district and super close to the river walk! Most of the things that we wanted to do were within walking distance. I do think some of the Lyft/uber drivers had a hard time figuring out the exact location, but once we started giving the address of a house at the corner, it became easier to direct them to. Overall, would stay here again!

This is a great place to stay to be close to the river street area and the historic district.
Once we parked the truck in the garage it stayed there the whole time as we were able to walk to everything.
