We had a fabulous stay here. The property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size with a nice, spacious bathroom and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, good choices and quality.
Tina was the icing on the cake, a great host, friendly, warm and welcoming.
I'd definitely recommend a stay at Powys Lodge and we hope to return before long.

We stayed here to go to a concert, we were able to walk to the north side of Scarborough, however it was a good 30 minutes for us, so maybe a car or taxi ride for anyone who cannot walk too far.
The hotel was small but our room was fine for us, the bathroom was quite small and would be a challenge for the larger person, or someone tall.
Our check in and out was fine and breakfast was lovely, cooked to order by the filling in of a slip the night before.
The room was nice and clean, TV a decent size and a tea and coffee tray on the dressing table, all good. I would recommend and be happy to stay again.

A wonderful well maintained victorian property lots of hreat original features. Fantastic service. Great breakfast 😋 an overall joy to have stayed on such a well run B&B . Thankyou tina for being so fantastic.

Our twin room had an en suite and the room was well provisioned with drink making equipment and supplies. The breakfasts were great and our host Tina was very attentive to all our needs. The hotel is a ten minute walk from town and five minutes from the south bay heights from where you can walk down through the greenery to the beach or town.
We visit Scarborough at least once a year and this will be our first choice going forwards

Tina was the best host. It was immaculate. Breakfast was superb. She couldn't do enough for you. Definitely recommend stopping here,we are going to for 😊

Excellent B&B
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HotelsExcellent stay , The whole B&B was amazingly decorated throughout, spotless in all areas , room was of a good standard and great for my solo stay , felt safe and welcomed. Lounge area had large tv ( also smaller 1 in rooms ) with tea and coffee .
Dining room had a luxurious feel to it , breakfast was amazing , hot and cooked fresh , nothing was any trouble for Tina . Had my own front door key so could come and go when wanted to .
Just 5 mins walk from south bay , with great views out to sea , plus 15 mins walk into town centre .
This was great little find and a bargain price with a 4 star rating , would definitely return and recommend to family and friends .
The was no negatives to my stay .
