The place is exactly as described, right by the coast (with lovely walks along the Cleveland Way), really quiet when just relaxing at the cottage and with great amenities. We would definitely go back and I am not sure we have ever thought that before!!

Peaceful getaway

May be too remote for some people so check the walking distances and places you may want to wander to. The hot tub and spa bath were fantastic after a long day walking. We saw red deer on the cinder path, seals in the sea and a white tailed eagle in the woods, wonderful sights. Communication with Steven was great and we had everything we needed for a weeks stay. We had a wonderful time.

A wonderful and unique getaway cottage

There was friendly and helpful communication before and during my stay.
The cottage was beautifully prepared for my arrival with the chocs, biscuits and champagne others have mentioned. The house was warm, lit and welcoming, and the hot tub was already bubbling and ready to go.
The cottage was very clean, well equipped and comfortable, with pretty much everything you could want - and more. Wifi was great.
I had brought all my food with me as I intended to leave my car gathering dust for the week, but there were quite a few nice pubs and tearooms within a few miles walk - or a short drive of course.
There was plenty of walking in the immediate area, on the Cleveland way (visible from the house) and the great Cinder track, which was ideal for walkers and cyclists, and on the permissive paths, one of which you use to get from the farm road to the Cleveland way.
I had a truly relaxing week. The hot tub was fantastic to sink into after a long day's walk, and the views from the tub across the countryside and to the sea were amazing. Of course, I was in there every day, what a treat.
