Beautiful views
Posted Jun. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayThe views are beautiful. We loved the big wrap around porch and utilized it most of the time. It does have a hillside to get to the firepit which might make it difficult for some. The kids of all ages had a great weekend together. There are many spices to accommodate any meal. It was a much needed family weekend!

A Great Getaway House
Posted May 27, 2024 on HomeAwayLake View Manor was a great house for a quick getaway. The porch has a really nice view of the lake and perfect spot to bird watch. You felt like you were in the trees. The extra large table in the kitchen was perfect for our group to eat together and play games. There is plenty of room and was nice and clean.

Amazing place
Posted Aug. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayAbsolutely loved the place. Very accommodating if you have a larger group. The view was beautiful and the house is clearly well taken care of. The owner always responded very quickly which made this process a lot easier.

Poor communication and ANTS
Posted Jun. 23, 2023 on HomeAwayProperty was mostly as described but no communication from owners. Reached out twice...once via messages before arriving with a couple of acessability questions and once again via the phone number provided on reservation confirmation after we arrived and discovered a significant ant problem in bathroom and kitchen. Please note there is not lake access anywhere within walking distance from the property.

Hello Mary - we didn’t get a single message from you, and you didn’t respond to our check-in information either. We have been there, and have had 6 families stay after you, no one said anything about ants. We also do not state that we have lake access. There are tons of lake views, and you can access the lake at the entry of Clearfork Drive.
I’m sorry if you didn’t have a good experience, but we are extremely responsive and don’t have ants.

A great weekend getaway!

Women's Retreat
Posted Nov. 7, 2022 on HomeAwayBeautiful Location on a hill overlooking Tappan Lake. House was nicely furnished and clean. Lovely wrap around porch. House was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were super responsive when we had questions.

Sibling's Retreat

The deck and outside area is perfect for outdoor conversations or relaxing around the firepit. The house has rustic comfort with log fixing and beautiful wood workmanship. The rooms are spacious with comfortable sleeping arrangements to accommodate our family of 8. The house was stocked with everything needed, from cooking to linen, for an enjoyable stay. The books and games were a great treat! The overall setting was perfect for our siblings retreat to relax and reconnect!
