Great Family Vacation

WKU Graduation
Publié le 10 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country.

Comfy, clean and well appointed
Publié le 1 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed 5 nights the last week of Oct. The house was wonderful and Cindy made a few changes to our rezy to allow us to enjoy the last of warm weather. The property is on a serious slope in the back and in my opinion, not something to tackle too easily for lake access. We're fishermen and were expecting the water level to be too low to use the dock, but we also didnt know the dock is a good deal away even if we could have. Ended up using the Baileys Point Campground to launch boats each day. 2 boats, 2 cars easily fit in the home's driveway with room to spare. Beds were all very comfy, ample bathrooms and great screened porch with water views. The kitchen has more furnishings than you can imagine. There's a large freezer side with icemaker, which was great. We sure hope to return, it was a welcome respite for the 6 of us. Thank you!

Pam, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Blessings by the Lake! We truly have one of the best places on the lake that provides ample room as you stated to park your vehicles and boats without issues. The Corps of Engineers does start dropping water levels from the beginning of October thru The first week of Nov. The wonderful part of Barren is there are still plenty of boat ramps to launch from during this period. Please come back soon! Cindy ☀️

Publié le 22 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals & this beautiful home is one of the best! The pics don’t do it justice. It’s stunning inside & outside. We lived on the front porch & screened in back porch. We loved watching the cows from the front porch & WOW! the views of the lake are breathtaking from the back. We were lucky enough to witness beautiful sunsets among the fall colors! This home really is a Blessing - the perfect name. When we were inside, we had everything we needed from plastic wrap, extra blankets to games & puzzles! The decor is so nice & cozy. I’ve never stayed anywhere that was so well stocked with essentials & beyond. We are already planning when we can go back!!
