Needs some TLC
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI will start with, the property, it was beautiful. There were deer everywhere and the golf course was beautiful!
First thing, we arrived at dark. The condo itself was unmarked. When we finally found the right door, the “lock box” was not accessible and the key pad wouldn’t work.
I messaged the host, with what sounded like an automated response about renting the condo.
I finally located a phone number and the kind lady helped me get in. It took us close to 30 minutes outside with luggage, in the dark.
The screen door was nasty, whith a torn screen and it wouldn’t stay open for us to get our bags in.
The living room was small, but clean. The left side of the couch required a pillow because it sunk down when you sat on it.
The kitchen was small and ok. The pans looked like they had been used for years.
The primary bedroom was ok. The Rod iron bed was fairly comfortable, bring your own pillows, theirs are FLAT! The bathroom was a drywall mess behind the toilet.
The second bedroom had a HUGE black bug running across the floor, one throw pillow was filthy.
The bathroom, for the main house, has the smallest shower and only a curtain. The light is connected to the fan and so loud you can hear it in the living area. One bulb was burnt out over the sink.
There was no using the cute back porch/Deck due to it not being clean.
There were several doors with locks on the inside in the condo, without access.
We were so disappointed, given the area and all the security.

We are very disheartened to hear from you regarding your recent stay at one of our High Hammock Villas, actually at one of our more sought after High Hammock Villas. You booked your reservation last minute (the day before arrival) through VRBO and were sent a detailed Information Packet from our company, which appears you viewed. In there it lists all emergency phone numbers to contact once on island. I understand when using a third party booking site, like VRBO, it can be very confusing. This is why we explain the importance of reading the Information Packet. Your booked property was described as 1000 square foot 2 bedroom with pictures. The bathrooms show shower curtains. You were her for two nights and did not contact our office to voice any complaints about the villa or cleanliness. If you had, we could have rectified any issues while you were here instead of hearing of them after you left. Our rental company is on island and is staffed by 9, who are all island residents. We pride ourselves on customer service and the personal touch! We do hope you visit our beautiful island, in the future, contact us directly and let us redeem our reputation for you. Good condo
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGenerally acceptable place, not up to usual level for Seabrook or VRBO. Light in bathroom burned out, shower/tub very slippery (doubt up to code), front door handle falling off, no pantry for food.

Thank you John for the review. We do not see any notation of your reaching out while staying at the villa. We always recommend to the guest that they reach out with any problems while on property. Even though we are not the property manager we assist with any problems that may arise. The light bulb could of been replaced immediately. Thank you for making us aware of the front door issue. The property manager will address that as well as the slippery shower. We appreciate you letting us know.

10/10 Location & 10/10 Communication!
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe condo location is excellent! Central on the island for easy walking, biking, or driving to the beach on either side of the island. We loved playing on the wild, wide open North Beach and watching beautiful sunsets from Pelican Beach. It was also a short ride/drive to the club houses. The Beach Club was a great amenity, nice pools and good outdoor bar/grill. The condos ground floor access is ideal for seniors and children and the parking is very close to the entrance. Upstairs neighbors are full time residents, very friendly and very quiet. The property management company was so easy to communicate with and they provided very clear arrival details, covering everything you could possibly need for the condo and Seabrook Island. They made it very easy to arrange the Seabrook Amenity cards and vehicle passes before arrival. Also great communication during and after the stay.

Wonderful Beach Getaway
Publié le 28 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying at this property. The proximity to the beach and pools were a great asset with two young children under 7years of age. The Freshfields center was also very convenient for when we left the house. Would highly recommend this location.
