5 acre gated country home with fishing pond and Hot tub on deck. Beautifully landscaped grounds with large shade trees. Amenities include wrap around porch, outdoor fire pit, BBQ grills (gas grill and Charcoal/wood), kayaking, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. 3 large bedrooms with well appointed furnishings. Television in Living area and Master Bedroom. High speed internet, ROKU, well equipped kitchen. Hot tub on deck for stargazing, very private location to get away from it all. Beautiful, Relaxing Stay
I wanted a relaxing birthday weekend to celebrate my 40th with my husband and friends. This was everything I wanted and more! The house was beautifully decorated and I was surprised multiple times at the small details that made it feel like home. The beds are very comfortable and huge. We spent most of our time outside on the deck or on the dock. Let me tell you-- the hot tub at sunset and watching the colors reflect off the pond is breathtaking.The host was very friendly and kept communication open. Everything was so smooth and easy with check in and out. Thank you again for opening your home and allowing us to make memories. PS: The wine was fantastic! Thank you for the birthday gift!

You will love this place
Like stepping back in time, quite peaceful, nature, clean, anything needed for your stay is there. Great shower. Loved the crisp sheets. Morning coffee on the porch. Tv in every room. Would definitely stay there again...Eat at Tonys for breakfast. !!

Took my aging MIL to this quiet getaway for some peace and quiet, and relaxing family time. Did a lot of porch sitting! Very comfortable house, everything we needed. Never even left the property! The grounds alone were a beautiful view.

Great Country Get-Away-Beautiful Setting!
We were a group of friends traveling to Round Top for some weekend shopping! The house was about a 40 minute drive to the Round Top Antiques Fair but it's a beautiful drive and the wild flowers were gorgeous! The house was perfect for our group! We loved sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning and saw lots of baby deer playing in the field across the street. The house had everything we needed and we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a note from the host. Communication with the host was easy and he was always very friendly! As we were leaving, one of our group couldn't find a couple rings that she had set somewhere. We let the host know and he messaged me a day later saying the cleaning crew had searched high and low for us and located the rings...amazing! Then he sent them back...so nice!! If you're looking for a beautiful country setting as a quiet family get away or for your Round Top home base...we highly recommend this home!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. The pond is beautiful and the fish were fun to watch come up and eat. The house was decorated to the T. It was spacious and the amenities were to perfection.

Quiet in the Country
This place met or exceeded all our expectations. Communications with the owner before and during the stay were great. Used the Kitchen, laundry, hot tub and fishing pond. All were very good. Close to both Sealy and Belleville with good food options and grocery stores. Restful sleep and near many places to visit. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great week Tom.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Great house for relaxing, either in the house or in the hot tub. And my son loves fishing everyday!! House was clean and nicely decorated. Beside fishing there was other games and plenty to explore outside. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in at night. The beds were very comfy! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property
The house and property are lovely. It was overcast and drizzly most of our stay, but we (me, my mom, and sister) had a wonderful time just hanging out, watching movies, and sitting on the front and back porch just enjoying the peace. We did get to see some deer...and antelope across the road. Oh...2 zebras! :) Tom is really kind and a very responsive host. Truly grateful he shares this little slice of heaven with others. We will absolutely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Beautiful Hill Country Property
Our girls group planned a trip for the fall RoundTop antiques show and stayed here for three nights. The pictures did not disappoint because the house was everything and more as described. Lots of everyday useful items and a lot of unexpected. This area is hill country and is very beautiful without all of the light pollution of the city. There are multiple exotic animal ranches in the area and one even right across from the house! Tom kept in touch with us during our stay and was only a text away when we needed something. We were all very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend visiting this property.

Terrific spot for a family weekend
We spent a long weekend at Twisted Elm with our adult children and little grandson and had a delightful time. The house had everything we needed -- three comfortable bedrooms and a roomy living area plus a large deck in the back. From watching the sunrise on the front porch to finding turtles and fish in the pond, it was a relaxing time. The property is quiet and peaceful, a pleasant getaway from the city. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, though there are also some good restaurants in Bellville. Tom is an excellent host and was quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend Twisted Elm.

Peaceful Getaway in Nature
This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, peaceful, with plenty of nature around. We enjoyed taking long walks around the property with the dogs, building a fire, hot tub, and dinner on the patio during sunset! We also visited a local blacksmith and made really cool knives and did “tomahawk throwing.” 10/10 would stay again

Everything was great. The pond was full of fish and the guys had a ball! The location was fantastic, very peaceful. The house was furnished with everything you could possibly need. Mr. Tom was a great host. We arrived at the perfect time to see the bluebonnets. Hope to go back soon!

This is the epitome of peace and quiet. The property is amazing and beautiful. If you are looking to just getaway and relax, you will not be disappointed! At Home in Texas
I definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway. It is set in a beautiful rural area that is actually quite close to stores and restaurants, making it just perfect for us. Tom was very helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. I'm looking forward to going back.

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN
My husband and I wanted to get away from the noise and hustle of the city. When I saw this property listed , I knew it was the right one for us. When we arrived, it was everything that was described and more. It took us no more than hour from the Galleria to get there in moderate traffic. The property itself which is country western chic, warm and friendly. It sits on quite and peaceful rolling acreage, surrounded by trees. We so enjoyed the fire pit watching the sunset behind the trees and pond. Coffee in the morning on the front porch watching the sunrise was also special. All you could hear was the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. I just brought some extra spices that I use. The master is down with a big comfy bed and plenty of room in the master bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king bed another with a queen and a full bath. Plenty of room for family or friends. Outside there is lots to do, hot tub, fire pit and , assorted outdoor games. We loved it so much.!! We are already planning a return visit. Thank you, Tom, for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

Quiet & peaceful!
We needed a quiet weekend away & this was exactly what we needed!!!! We enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace and everything was just as described in the listing!!! Wow! Where to begin? My two sisters and I leased this gorgeous home for five days for a Sisters Birthday Trip to TX. The Home was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths! The home was extremely clean, well maintained, had everything we needed for our five day stay! We enjoyed the location immensely as it was on five acres in the country across from an exotic animal preserve. We couldn’t have been more pleased than we were with Owner response! Absolutely Loved It!
Words does not describe how much we enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained. We were greeted by fireflies. All of us enjoyed the daily scenery of the exotic animals across the road. The hummingbirds were a site. My husband and son enjoyed fishing at the private pond. The temperature was perfect to sit outside on the porch from sun up to sun down. If you enjoy nature, peace and quiet, this is the place. We are definitely coming back.
