CQ nautical theme; life aquatic with Steve Zissou Vibe (Bill Murray) Quirky fun & clean space! Cozy comfortable "Hygge, Romantic relaxing or workspace. 225 sq feet sleeps 2-4 but 2 comfortably
Outside 420 smoking space.
Quiet Sleeping nook-cleaned by a cleansebot “little buddy” drives over and under the bedding to kill viruses, mites, and allergens. Bed Platform -Memory foam-approx. 18" off floor. NEW Chaise lounge pullout sofa comfortable stay for that 3rd person.

Privet Head/bathroom has a luxurious rain shower with a handheld attachment Bathroom has a 6" step up to enter. Adjacent to the bathroom is a small seated Vanity with a Blow dryer, Hair Straightener & cleaning products Face Body, and Shampoo.

CQ’s Galley/kitchenette is small but efficient, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker Tea and Coffee provided. Pots and pans with Bunsen burner, Webber BBQ out front. All you need to make a nice meal or grab snacks from our honor bar. We provide TV trays for a quiet meal inside or use one of the 2 tables and/or The NEW red Adirondack chairs by our New Gas fire pit out front for a relaxing bite.

Outside Space- is a Semi-Private/ front patio with Adirondack chairs including a New Gas Fire Pit, surrounded by plants that attract hummingbirds and our crow Ralphie.
For Fun with have Putters & Balls to play on our miniature-miniature golf course. We provide hot dog sticks, 1 bag of charcoal and lighter fluid. Green outdoor smoking blankets and Beach towels for an outing to Golden Gardens (7 min Drive).

Other Things to Note
We are 420 friendly on our patio, dog friendly with the callout that the Humans are responsible for any damages done by their furry friends, dog bowls provide.

Message In a Bottle: We create a special message in a bottle for all guests to keep or leave behind. (some do ask for a special note birthday or engagement happens often here)

I’ve stayed in many short term rental properties and this was, hands down, one of the very best. The words “cute” and “cozy” best capture the essence, but the Captain’s Quarters is so much more. It’s small, but perfect for up to a couple (comfy queen bed) plus, perhaps, one sleeping on the couch. The host is amazingly kind and responsive to communications. Street parking is very close, easy, and free. The WiFi works well. If I needed to, I could’ve worked on my laptop here. We will, unquestionably, be returning as we need to be in Ballard every couple of months.

I loved this cute stay in Ballard area. Perfect for my work trip. The bed was so cozy. Lights and ocean sounds were so fun and inviting. I couldn't figure out the coffee situation but everything else was perfect. Will book again!

If I could give this place 1000 stars I could. Host was Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. The place was perfect and clean close to anything you need in Seattle. The neighborhood was great and walkable. Would come back again and only book this spot.

I was traveling for unfortunate reasons, and I was so grateful to have a comfortable home base during my stay in Seattle. Heidi has designed the space with a great eye for detail. The entire experience, from communicating before the trip, to checking in, the stay itself, and check out -- all of the communication was clear and accurate. My wife and i chose this place for our honeymoon and were very happy with the accommodations. Heidi was a great host and made sure that we were supplied with towels, coffee/tea and good wi-fi. The patio is perfect for playing a quick 3-hole round of mini-golf before heading out for bigger adventures. There are several great restaurants as well as a Safeway grocery store within short distance of this unit. Ideal for a couple or solo.

Cute little nautical themed in a great quiet neighborhood
Heidi was excellent in sharing highlights in the neighborhood. The unit is on the small side, but it is lovingly appointed with nautical themes. There is a bit of a small step from the main space to the bathroom. Heidi communicated clearly and there were fun snacks and great coffee ready to go. All the furniture and the linens were high quality

This property was in a very quiet residential area within walking distance to the Fat Hen restaurant which is great for breakfast or lunch. The apartment was cozy, comfortable and clean. Next time we visit our son and his new wife we will definitely stay here!

Lots of attention to detail and fun touches in this cozy property. We were moving with cats and needed a place to stay for a night that accepted pets, but would love to return for a longer stay sometime! Highly recommended.
