Practical and comfortable
The rooms are standard and have what you need. Nothing more. DO NOT get an alley room, they make a lot of noise with the garbage bins behind the hotel at 2-3 am. Love the virunga alarm to wake up to.

The hotel is awesome! The rooms are well appointed and make us if the space very well. The overall experience was a welcomed break from the traditional hotels ive stayed at. I will definitely frequent this brand again whenever ib get the opportunity too.

Be cautious!
The tablets provided in the room for controlling various systems were not only functional but also caused a noticeable slowdown in the entire room’s operations. Upon the arrival of the front desk to investigate the issue and reset the breaker, a half-hour wait was still insufficient to restore normalcy. Consequently, we politely requested to be relocated to another room, which was unfortunately denied. It is noteworthy that the new Citizen M building exhibits significant differences from its predecessor located in the southern region. The beds in this new establishment are notably firmer and provide an overall uncomfortable sleeping experience compared to the previous one.

The room was compact yet very cozy, and I really appreciated the innovative use of an iPad to control various features. I found the bed to be pleasantly firm, which I personally enjoyed, although my boyfriend had a different preference.
