Excellent Location

There are stairs up to the apartment and to the bedroom floor, but that was clearly stated in the description. The apartment is well stocked and well situated in a quiet neighborhood that appeared very safe. The view out the front windows was of a lovely, large Japanese maple tree changing colors for fall. The location can’t be beat-just a few blocks from downtown Ballard. Can’t wait to book again!

One night in Ballard

I often felt that the communication with the property managers was being run by AI. Many of the responses were generic and not pertaining to what was being asked. The entrance combination was a bit tricky and not logical and when I texted (which was preferred?) about this the response was quick and useless. The place itself was fine. Good luck getting your car in the garage.

Hi Lisa. I'm sorry you had some frustrations with your stay, as that is not what we are used to with our guests. Let me explore your concerns. First, the price you paid for the stay was clearly displayed to you before you could complete the reservation. The rate you paid for 6 people in a 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home in a prime location on a fall Saturday night was just $268, plus $120 as a cleaning fee (which doesn't even cover the amount we have to pay to clean the house and change linens). VRBO adds sales tax and their own service fee. All of this is very clearly displayed before you can complete the booking, and is a very reasonable value for 2 bedrooms/2.5 baths on a Saturday night. I have reviewed all communications between my team and you, none of which are automated in any way, and I see very patient attention paid to your inquiries... including gently reminding you to complete our online registration after numerous requests. I also note that you had trouble using the lock on your first attempt, and our team solved that for you via text exchange in under 60 seconds. I am not sure how you characterize that as "useless." Finally, you complain that the garage is small, but note that wherever parking is mentioned (two places) in our listing description, we note that it is only suitable for one small car. In any case, I am sorry that the stay did not bring you the great satisfaction that nearly all of our guests experience, and hope you have better luck going forward

Garage just fits a Chevy Equinox or similar with some care and maneuvering with direction from another.not a fit for older or individuals with a mobility issues due to 2 flights of stairs.

Comfortable family type accommodation
Publié le 27 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI enjoyed my stay overall. Parking in the garage was challenging I rented a Chevy equinox it barely fit with some maneuvering and help directing me in. Multiple stairs Main living area and powder room on 2nd floor 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the 3rd floor. If you have any kind of mobility issues it's not a good fit. Great kitchen for cooking family meals. Some Street construction going on during my stay which is happening all over Ballard.

Ballard Home
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was clean and the perfect size for our visit. Unlike some other rentals, the kitchen was nicely stocked with all the necessary amenities. It's also perfectly nestled just outside of the Ballard beer district.
