The smell of the disinfectant was so overpowering that I could not stay a second night. It was extremely clean, but the odor of the disinfectant was too much.

We appreciated the peacefulness of the location. While we understood that Motel 6 is a budget option, we were surprised that after paying over $200 for a one-night stay, basic amenities like single-use shampoo and body wash were not provided, even upon request. Instead, we were directed to purchase them from a vending machine. Despite the price we paid for the room, the only toiletry offered was a small bar of soap.

I am all up for saving cost staying in cheaper places, but the listing wasn't cheap, there was a hole in our sink in the bathroom, holes in the walls, and just an overall rundown feel to the whole room. And I have stayed in some cheap hotels.....
If I paid half the cost, I would have expected that, but paying close to $250 Canadian a night for that, is not an experience I would do again.
