Great place for a getaway
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I spent a week here…what a great spot! We really enjoyed it! He spent much of the time at the end of the dock fishing. The water is shallow, but he caught catfish, mangrove snapper, and redfish. Dolphins swam by us every day!
The cottage is adorable and comfortable. The only minor improvements I would suggest would be more towels/washcloths, more spare garbage bags, and some basic condiments and seasonings provided in the kitchen. Also, be aware that there are steps from the driveway down to the cottage.

Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayVery Impressive little cottage !!! Was not sure what to expect when we booked the reservation. We were pleasantly surpised. Very clean, open, and bright. My husband loved fishing off the dock everyday. We even saw dolphins swimming out front. Enjoyed out time at the cottage. Will come back to stay in if we are in the area again. 10 out of 10.

Great, quiet place by the water

Publié le 2 août 2023 sur HomeAwayNo check-in, unit was not locked, so no key. bedroom a/c was inoperative. No internet available. Water had very strong smell and yard area contained debris (.looked to be parts of dock left from last years hurricane).

Hi Gerald, thank you for choosing our cottage! We truly wish we'd been made aware of your concerns during your stay, as we're committed to promptly addressing any issues for our guests' comfort. To clarify: check-in details were shared in our pre-stay VRBO message as well as a part of our listing once a guest has booked. The key is inside the unit. Housekeeping was just there prior to your arrival. If there were challenges with the AC or Internet, we would've been eager to assist; both are fully operational. Our water maintenance company is ready to ensure the best quality, as we know being in a rural requires it, and the debris you mentioned is from a neighboring dock and not on our property. The Micco Cottage dock was repaired shortly after the storm in November. It's paramount to us that guests enjoy their stay to the fullest, and we always welcome the opportunity to make things right. Beautiful cottage on the Indian River lagoon.

Publié le 2 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were returning guest.I was born and raised in s Fl.I know how to rough it.I have camped in very different different around Fl.I have been through every hurricane that has hit sw Fl.I understand that hurricane Nichole has beat the area up pretty bad.We referred friends of ours to stay there but Nichole changed there plans.The home was not very clean.The drain pipe for the sink leaked.You advertise WiFi but it doesn’t work.The grounds are a mess with leaves,branches,boards with nails in them,old dock material,and pieces of concrete everywhere.This is a major liability.We won’t be back.We will not refer anyone to stay there.
