Great place for an extended visit

This place is perfect for a short or a long visit as it is very clean, well stocked, quiet and in a great location. I especially enjoyed the fact that it is separate from the main house and is equipped with a washer and dryer.

Clean and nice but claustrophobic

Wow. Thats a first. I’ve had hundreds of reviews and the vibe I usually get is cozy, sweet but not that. If it wasn’t what you as a guest wanted, a phone call would’ve been nice and we would’ve let you out of the reservation to go find different accommodations. Staying in a place that doesn’t make you feel comfortable doesn’t feel well to anyone and the fact that you stayed and never said anything truly says something about your expectations after the fact. We have frosted windows so you feel private and yes there is a huge entire private yard for you to enjoy in lieu of feeling claustrophobic.

Perfect Spot for Sonoma County Exploration
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMod Pod Lodge was the perfect spot for our anniversary trip. We wanted to explore the coast and wine country. We did it all! Sebastopol had everything we needed for food and night life - before and after a day of exploring. The rental was perfect both inside and out. Highly recommend.

Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwaywhat a great place to stay in the Sonoma area. Not only a great location but a nice plae to hang out. Private yard is a definite plus with all the plants. And you can help yourself to anything. We had grapes, herbs, peppers and a tomato. Not to mention the wonderful hosts!

Nice spot
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay and the cottage had everything we needed. There was only one wine glass but the host quickly remedied that. We loved picking fresh tomatoes and grapes from the garden an Andy’s Produce just down the street is amazing. This was a nice base for our annual trip to wine country and close to one of our favorite wineries (Merry Edwards). We usually travel with friends and need a bigger place but this was great for just the two of us.

Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI visited my hometown of Healdsburg and was back for a wedding, but was shocked at the rate of the standard hotel in the room block so I was lucky to happen upon this space. The guests are encouraged to visit the backyard and pick the vegetables which I loved. The space is also about twice as big as a standard hotel room, and the owners gave me total privacy, more generous to visit for a bit as I was leaving. Though it can use a little hose down outside and perhaps a little refreshing inside, would bring it back to the way the photos look. Andy’s produce is about a 12 to 15 minute walk if it’s very hot, but Andy’s has always been a great store for organic and beautiful food and every department, though you pay for it. When my sister picked me up, she was also very impressed and sure enough we ran into the owner and they knew each other and their kids. Glad I can still feel like a small town and I will definitely go back there and recommend.
