Family fishing trip

The fishing was tuff but it was nice to come and kick back in the living room with an amazing view! A nice and quick place with very nice neighbors very

June weekend
Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayKind of a mixed bag. The view was absolutely amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the leather couch. The 70's carpet gave me pause as to it's cleanliness. Of course there was iron in the hard water, but no excuse for the kitchen sink's condition which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months (whereas the shower was spotless) & excrement on the toilet seat.

My cleaning lady works very hard and normally gets great reviews. I have left the older style carpet as it goes with the retro theme inside the cabin, but it gets cleaned after every renter. We try hard to please everyone one but nothing is perfect. We will continue to improve, thanks for the feed back.

Only suggestion is that you list bedding provided in listing instead of bedsheets provided as we had to pack blankets and pillows because we thought we had to.

Beautiful Views
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is rustic, but well stocked and clean. Internet and cell service are spotty which made contacting the owner about issues a challenge. We ended up not staying at the property once the toilet flusher broke within the first hour of being there. Excessive spider webs covered the cabin but not the other homes in the area.

Yes the internet is spotty, which it says in the add. this is a remote cottage community, set on the shores of Saginaw bay, which you will encounter outdoor life(spiders) and will change every day based on wind directions. The chain fell of the flushing handle, a possible issue with any toilet. I had a repair man there within an hour of the email but couldn't access the cabin because the renter locked the cabin and took the key with her. I then hired a lock smith to access the cabin($250) and the renter then decided to return the key a couple days later. Please read the complete add and use some common sense when using VRBO.

Publié le 28 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayHad such a great time. Cabin was comfy. The only thing I would do is keep the windows free from cobwebs and spider, keep them clean. To me the main attraction is definitely the view from the wall of windows!!! Amazing bay view. With a view like that you definitely don’t want anything to disrupt it. Very quiet and relaxing.

The view, the sunsets

Publié le 5 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a very peaceful stay. The back of the cabin faced the marsh land of Saginwa bay,this supplied us with entertainment from the water foul native to the area.
Internet was slow if you plan on doing work while your there , but don't go to work. There are two towns close with nice places to eat. The Lamplighter in Sebewaing,Mi was wonderful to eat at.
