We had an unforgettable experience at The Inn at Thunder Mountain! The innkeeper went above and beyond to make our stay special. Despite making a last-minute booking on a Sunday evening, he stayed after hours to personally welcome us after our flight. This was our first visit to Sedona, and he truly set the tone for an incredible trip. Upon arrival, he upgraded our room to a beautiful suite and greeted us with warm, homemade bread and jam—such a thoughtful and personal touch! From beginning to end, our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and rejuvenating. The attention to detail and care made all the difference. Thank you for making our visit to Sedona so memorable! We can’t wait to return!

Comfortable, quiet and lovely room. Has a family atmosphere where the staff is available for your every need. Bread baked in our room made coming in every day a welcoming touch. Gardener on staff has spent decades making the the courtyard, walkways, and walls a joy to behold. Fountains, sculptures, moving water pull us in for a lovely experience everywhere on the property. Mr Lodoe Senge is marvelous as a thoughtful, conversational and professional host. I can not think of a more welcoming and peaceful place my wife, (Susan) and I have ever stayed. Kudos! Thank You! Blessings!

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn. Very quiet, easy parking, close to town but felt like farther out. Loved our private balcony open to views of nature. Fresh baked bread upon arrival in your room. They stock the room with little snacks, waters, coffee, etc. We really felt like they cater to the guests experience. The breakfast was delicious!! You can opt to have it delivered to your room! The Innkeeper Zak is who brings your stay all together! He’s kind, full of information and eager to make your stay the very best!! We will stay here again to get away!

Intimate, quiet. Rates include gourmet breakfast as well as snacks/soda in room. Loved the baked bread in the room. No room service, pool or spa. Recommend for couples.

Our one night stay at the Inn on Thunder Mountain was very pleasant. Our suite was comfortable with all the amenities. Nice touches... fresh bread baking in our kitchen, cookies in the lobby and a stocked fridge and snack tray. Breakfast was delicious and should have opted to dine out on our suite patio instead of the dining room. Highly recommend a short or long stay in the area.

What a lovely place to stay, close to hiking, restaurants and shopping! The grounds are peaceful and the staff very friendly. Homemade. Read daily was wonderful!!! The only negative I would say is that they were having a plumbing problem and we had a hard time getting cold water into our unit. The staff responded quickly but we did have to “work around “ the actual problem.

The property offered private hot tubs for each unit. It also made fresh bread for your room daily. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast offered was adequate but needs a bit of improvement for pancakes and waffles.

A Little Slice of Sedona Heaven
This was our first stay at Inn @ Thunder Mountain--small, charming, beautiful, and welcoming. With only 6 suites/rooms, it is a serene spot located in West Sedona--well situated as a base for excursions in any direction. Our suite was fully accessible AND included a private hot tub in our little private patio. We got fresh-baked bread daily (!!!), as well as free homemade cookies, water & soft drinks, and a coffee maker in our unit. We had free wifi and a good TV to relax with after hiking. Major kudos to Zak, the generous & helpful innkeeper; also to Chef Robert, who single-handedly serves a tasty & healthy breakfast each morning (included). The staff willingly respond to any/every request we made: best hikes, local restaurants, special sites not to miss, etc. By the end of our 7-night stay, we felt like family. Can't wait to return!
