Avis Hostel City Hub Colombo Airport

朝4時40分に空港まで、送ってもらいました。

Good: Excellent and free airport pickup and drop off service. Overall excellent value for money. Staff really do their best to maximize guest comfort over anything else (so, they will put travellers in single rooms instead of sharing if the hotel isn't full and will keep breakfast open a bit past the 10:30 cutoff for guests who arrived very late at night). Expected: Rooms were basic and clean. Air conditioning worked well and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was more substantial than other hostels in the area (they had some protein, not just bread and fruit). Outdoor area was pleasant, although this certainly isn't the place to spend all day at the pool as it was small and not very clean. Needs Improvement: The women's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I don't know if they just don't have the female staff to clean it or what (the rest of the property was far cleaner, so men's may be fine), but there was mud and dirt all over the shower floors, no clean surface anywhere to place a bar of soap, mosquitoes and gnats attracted to the stagnant water, and in one shower a clearly days dead gecko. Toilet paper was only in one stall by night. Really not a pleasant experience, and definitely don't forget some shower shoes!

I stayed for one night before when I arrived at the airport late in the night. I tried to write the hostel 2 times to pick me up as they offer shuffle service. This was the main reason why is choose to stay their. But I did not heard anything. I called the hostel and they said they did not get any e-mails and tried to write to my e-mail so I could answer. When they wrote to me I could see they answed the e-mail I sent. So they did revice it. I send my flight information again but no one picked me up. But I called them in the middel of the Night and they finally came and pick me up. A little disapointet about this. But the staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Очень удобно перед вылетом приехать на поезде и автобусе с курорта, позволяет сэкономить на такси. Хостел чистый, есть бесплатный трансфер в аэропорт.
