Simply Breathtaking
This home and property was simply breathtaking. So peaceful. We had the perfect weather. It fit our family perfectly. The pool and hot tub was nice. We also lit the fire and sat around and listened to music. The fishing was good. My daughter caught a huge 35-40 carp. I highly recommend this place. I already want to go back.

Pecan Meadow
Wow! What a beautiful place. My family loved our time here. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and cooking in a beautiful kitchen. One of our family members is in a wheelchair and we had some difficulty getting her inside the house and then outside when we left. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. So clean and beautifully decorated. Such a lovely space!

Beautiful house…exterior pool area could use some TLC
Absolutely great house for a group! The interior was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The interior is decorated beautifully with a great modern Texas farmhouse vibe. The 10 acre property was mowed and trimmed nicely. Now for the negatives. The pool area needs some work. All of the furniture is very old and covered with spiders and other creatures. The pool lounge chairs were very old and needed to be replaced. The 4 padded chairs all had rips in the fabric and needed to also be replaced. We tried to sit at the table to eat outside but between the old chairs, dirty table and spider covered seats…it was a no go for us. There wasn’t one place to sit outside that was dirty or really old except the porch swing. There needs to be a pressure washing of the entire pool area, pest control (the flies, wasps & ants were relentless), and outdoor furniture replacement. There is a wasps nest on the northern side which didn’t help. All of this definitely lessened our enjoyment of the outside pool area. The property itself is amazing but this left much to be desired. We did walk down to the dock area by the river….it is extremely old and I am not sure how anyone would be able to use it in its current condition. The river was extremely low and unusable for us…obviously not the fault of the property owner. We did have fun and made the best of the pool area.

Beautiful rural retreat
Great property with beautiful grounds. Very relaxing and perfect for families as there were lots of kid friendly features. Loved having non breakable dishes, the super fun bunk room with toys. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept great. Sharing one bathroom upstairs was a little tight when we had all the beds full, but we made it work. It was a little difficult to see the horse on the gate when we arrived after dark, and guests should definitely note that it’s a decent drive down a gravel road to get to the property. We loved seeing the cows and wild turkeys, though! Definitely would stay there again!

Great quiet escape. Had lots of kitchen supplies and had everything we needed.

Family Fun at Pecan Meadow!!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pecan Meadow in Seguin Texas! The house was exactly like the pictures and the property was beautiful and very private. The house was perfect for a multi generational vacation with three king sized beds and a great bunk bed room with space for kids to play and watch TV and one of the bedrooms had a full sized crib!! The patio/pool area was large, well equipped with items for kids and lots of seating, lounge chairs and umbrellas that shaded the pool. We spent hours each enjoying the pool!!The grounds are impressive and everyone enjoyed fishing in the lake. The property owner was responsive and very helpful. Overall our stay at Pecan Meadow was a memorable experience and we would definitely consider returning at some point in the future!!

Perfect getaway!
We had a fantastic time at Pecan Meadows! Our two teenagers spent the majority of the time exploring the acreage and paddle boarding/kayaking. Our 1 yr old loved to roam and play in the wide open grassy areas. We enjoyed the hot tub since it was in November, but we are hoping to book again in the summer months so we can use the pool! The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. Our only recommendation is to be sure you grocery shop and stock up before you arrive because you won’t want to leave after you arrive!

Fantastic Family Getaway!
The minute we drove up to the property we could tell that this was going to be a special vacation. The house was even lovelier than the pictures yet still "homey" and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed and the spacious rooms gave us all plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the peace and beauty of the pool and extended grounds every day. Everyone in my party, including my mother, commented what a special trip it was. The Taylors really made us all feel welcomed!

Best VRBO Ever
So we have stayed at a lot VRBO houses and this was was our favorite! The property is just amazing, the views from the pool deck, the activities, the beautiful decor and small touches. We knew the minute we stepped into this house that it was going to be an amazing week. We went with our 3 sons (12,10,7) and they also declared it the best house. The lake activities, the tree house and especially the pool on those hot afternoons made this house perfect for a summer trip in Texas. Also can't say enough about the owners, they were responsive and very communicative. We would love to go back next summer and make this a regular place for us!

Beautiful Hill Country Getaway
My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful river/lake side home. From the pool to the treehouse to the river activities there was really no need to travel outside the property. While the pool / spa pump was broken upon arrival, it was quickly fixed the next day. This is a great place for both kids and adults wanting a Texas hill country getaway and I would highly recommend.
