Publié le 27 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house reeks of mold there is a terrible stench in the home. There are roaches in the cabinets, stains on the wall, unkept yard. The house interior looks nothing like the photos online. The televisions do not work without WiFi.
No WiFi, security alarms, hangars for clothes this venue needs a lot of work.

Hi Terry, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, and we're sorry to hear that you had a few issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We take claims of mold seriously and have found no evidence of this in the home. We are working with our cleaning team to investigate the odor reported.
- We haven't had issues with pests in the past.
- We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised.
- We're sorry to hear that you had issues with the wifi! We are looking into this!

THINGS THE DESCRIPTION DOESN'T TELL YOU

While this particular house is cute and in the process of being updated, it still has a lot of work to be done. This works includes front and back doors that are fully functional and secure the house. If renting this house you will have uninhabitable / falling down houses within a few houses from the rental - as well as spread throughout the neighborhood. If any of that makes you uncomfortable this isn't your house because it's a kind review based on our experience. And when we contacted the owner about our safety concerns on Friday evening, that we did not feel comfortable staying in the house, and were leaving to check into a hotel - there was no response until Sunday about 11:30am.

Providing a safe and comfortable environment for all of our guests is at the forefront of our mission. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, we wanted to share the following:
- The owner confirmed they spoke with your husband on Friday evening. The owner explained Selma has some abandoned housing and buildings; however, their home is old and charming. They also let you know that no incident had been reported at the house.
- An Evolve representative was also in communication with you throughout your stay. They worked with you to provide a fair resolution to help make things right for the inconvenience you experienced.
