Nice facility, nobody wearing masks
Posted Sep. 2, 2021 on HotelsI was evacuating the hurricane area so I made a snap decision to go to Selma and stay at this hotel. Although I arrived at 11 pm Saturday night, it was not a problem for them. The hotel was very quiet and clean. My room was large and had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge, which were very convenient and helped me save money on my unplanned trip. I did not take advantage of the free breakfast because although there were signs saying everyone must wear masks inside due to the pandemic, nobody did, including the employees. This was my biggest concern since Alabama has the lowest vaccination rate in the country. In fact, I left the hotel for this reason although I still can’t go home. Also note that this hotel is two floors and there is no elevator. Normally this would not be a problem for me, but since I had to leave with several suitcases and my computer for fear everything would be lost in the storm, I had a very difficult time lugging all my stuff across the parking lot and up the stairs.

The room smell very bad nasty like mildew wet carpet and had roaches. They didn’t have towels. You ask for towels and they tell you they don’t have towels. What hotel don’t have towels

So sorry for mishaps at our hotel. We have taken care of the issues regarding the roaches and wet carpet. We apologize for not having extra towels for you. Due to Covid, all hotels are facing shortage in towels etc. for the time being.

It was notclean the plumbing was messed up and we had to be moved from one room to another ad it was wotst than the first room.

Nice, clean room. Convenient location to all the historical locations we wanted to visit. Breakfast was ok.

the room didn't have enough towels ,no kleenex tissues, and the breakfast was horrible the coffee was watered down and so was the cranberry juice. We will not stay again or recommend
