The Sunbird waterfront is a very nice modern property with very well appointed rooms. The restaurant is good – breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly and polite. I was disappointed by the lack of a tourist activity program, and very ad hoc approach to this. Some of the prices I was quoted for boat, rides, or other accompanied activities were ridiculous. I think part of this that probably not many international guests stay there. The other annoyance was the noise levels at night. On the Saturday night, there was a big party at the hotel and music went on until 3 am. Not acceptable.

The rooms are large, new, modern and beautiful. The bed very soft. The sliding door to balcony was very stiff and hard to open and close. There was only one room key per room as they did not have enough key cards. But despite those minor inconveniences, it was a beautiful hotel.
