Overall is good but it will be better to state in the amenities that toothbrush and toothpaste is by donation at the reception area, as it is not supplied in rooms.

Being in the center of Myeongdong, it makes it very easy to shop, eat, and look around as everything is in the center of Seoul. Even transportation was right down stairs from the hotel. My overall stay with the hotel was very good as the staff were friendly, room was cleaned everyday, property was clean, and overall a very nice hotel to stay at. My only thing that I did not like was that I wish they had a microwave for the rooms.

Basic booking

One night stay ahead of a DMZ trip. They had a power outage that lasted almost the entire time I stayed, no mention of this while booking. It meant there were no lights in the room, other than an emergency light which didn’t turn off at all. Thankfully I’d packed an eye mask but it wasn’t easy to sleep. The bathroom was fairly cramped, more like a pod built into the room than it’s own room, and could do with a clean.

Stayed for 7 nights. Good location near to metro station and airport limousine bus stop to Incheon airport. Staff courteous and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Coin laundry on 10th floor of the hotel is a bonus to help with laundry. Good stay at Ibis Myeongdong Hotel.

This is a 3 star hotel, its what it is. 5 star reviews does NOT mean its a 5 star hotel, it isn't. The gym was at best, the same sizeasour room. 2 walking tread mills and a few barbells... disappointing. Room was 'OK' but not as spacious as the Best Western near the airport. The WiFi was also unreliable which makes this hotel inappropriate for business. The front desk lent USA 4G router as a work around, it was no better. cheers, john

The hotel is located right across the Lotte mall which has all types of high end stores such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Rimowa and the Apple store. The staff cleans the room very well and there is a laundry room to wash clothes. The only issue we experienced was having to call the staff 3 times throughout the day just to get new towels, but overall they are very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and friendly; room is comfortable as well and the hotel location is very close to the shopping area/airport bus stop. However, the daily cleanup for our room the janitor might not check and clear the trash bins thoroughly. There’s one day the janitor forgot to clear one of the 2 trash bins, which made the bin extra full that day. Other than that, our stay was a good one.
