Private location with beautiful views
Publié le 7 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayI booked this as a last minute weekend getaway with my partner and our dog. The peacefulness and privacy was unrivaled. The house was very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Directions from the host were very clear, and I did not need to contact them for clarification on anything. There are basically no neighbors to this property, just a view across the lagoon and out into the sound. A large area of sandy beach is accessible via a private bridge after a short drive down a private road. Even though this sand spit belongs to the property owners we still saw a few other people walking around on it. However, this is at a distance from the house itself. The land the house is on is basically protected from the outside world. Inside the house, things were very cozy. The solarium was a nice place to sit and look at birds through my spotting scope while eating breakfast. We built a fire in the wood stove during the evening. Overall this was a wonderful stay and I have no complaints!

The Perfect Cozy Getaway: Birds, Lights, and a Lot of Fun!
Publié le 14 déc. 2024 sur HomeAway10/10! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. Bird watching from the sunroom was a highlight, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing experience. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed to prepare light meals for the weekend. There were also a collection of games to keep us entertained.
The town had so much to offer in early December, including a festive tractor light parade(yes, you read that right), a holiday craft bazaar, and numerous light displays. We especially recommend visiting the holiday light display near the casino—it was stunning.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to our friends!

Views unbeatable, great dog park just down the road, discovery trail very close. Wife and I have decided to make this a regular get away!!

Wildlife Viewing- Cozy - Comfort
Publié le 2 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe’re Sequim locals, and invited family here for a long weekend to stay with us at the cottage. I can’t say enough about how great our stay was. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. The sunroom was perfect for reading, watching eagles, seals and waterfowl or just taking in the amazing views. The location is close to town for errands or activities, but feels like your own paradise worlds away. Although there is plenty to do in the area, one evening we just chose to stay in to watch football because the living room is so comfortable! The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are plush and cozy. The host was amazing - so helpful and responsive! My husband and I loved it so much here we ended up booking an extra night after our guests left. We will definitely be back - our new local getaway!

Publié le 16 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI've stayed here a dozen times. During my last stay there was a wind storm. Deborah called to check that we hadn't lost power and let us know that they'd hook up a generator for the well of necessary. Cabin as always was beautiful.welnecessary
