Staying here was a dream come true for our family. The only downside would be that There is no privacy in the bathroom for showering or bathing. This particular car is better set up for a couple.

Very nice atmosphere in the room. You could see the hotel made a lot of effort to convert old rail cart into interestingly themed hotel rooms. We stayed in the Orient Express theme, the room was clean and looked good. Only minor point of comment would be that it is hard to completely block windows in order to prevents light from entering in the morning.
The station (main building) is a good place to spend an hour or so in the evening to have a coffee and play some boardgames or pool.

Really cool experience! We stayed in the Casino Royale themed car. All the little design touches were fun. It was a nice getaway. We would stay again.

Beautiful nights in the Lavender Express. Whirlpool tub was very enjoyable, very nice after a long day hiking. Shower was VERY tight for an adult guy... but overall very much enjoyed the nights in the train.

My 10 year old grandson thought it was our best hotel out of the 8 we stayed in. Fun experience!
