Perfect Location For Simple Relaxation
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy 90 year old father and I stayed at Sequim Bay Hideaway for a full week and found it difficult to leave because it was so comfortable! We lit a fire in the stove, spread out a picnic blanket on the back deck and had my daughter, husband and there three young children over for play time, adult "catch up" time, sandwiches for lunch and locally caught salmon, tri-tip and hamburgers on the grille for dinner. All the kitchen gear you could imagine, even baked a cake one evening!
The hot tub was really fun in the evenings for the adults too, cool outside but warm inside.
Another great feature is access to the beach. It is a simple hike down to the water and once there, millions of seashells to look at, amazing photos to be taken and fond memories built. Excellent experience!

Beautiful quiet get away

Sequim Bay Hideaway
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view from the deck is even more beautiful than the pictures can portray. Sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars cannot be beat. The beach is just a short hike down the path and was a perfect place for us to use our paddleboards. I highly recommend Sequim Bay Hideaway.

Cozy house on the bay
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice coastal style house with great view of the bay. Everything was very comfortable and kids loved the hot tub. We also really enjoyed being able to walk down to the water. Short drive into Sequim. We drove into Olympic two days for hiking which was fine but probably a little far if you plan on visiting the park several days.

Incredible View, wonderful outdoor space

A few ants in the master bedroom and bathroom, house could due with an outside insect treatment to prevent the little guys from entering and an examination of the foliage to make sure none is touching the house, which is a common avenue for minor infestations.
Hot tub water needs replacement, was so cloudy that you could barely see the bottom and had been over-treated to compensate. Seems like people had gotten in wearing lotion and it just needed the water replaced, though. Otherwise it was in excellent working condition.

Charming in every way

The games videos and info on local restaurants and things to do was much appreciated as we experienced some rainy days. It was obvious that the cabin has had a lot of loving care. It is very private and the view could not be more spectacular. LOTS of porch furniture for relaxing was also appreciated (many VRBOs provide 2 skimpy chairs) The location was great for exploring Sequim and Olympic NP. We also visited Port Townsend and Fort Flagler SP(both terrific) Thank you so much for a wonderful visit and I would highly recommend SBH!! Kudos to the cleaning crew, the kitchen and bathroom were immaculate!

Spring Break Family Vacation
Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our time at Sequim Bay Hideaway! This was our jumping off place to visit Olympic National Park. We spent each day exploring a different area of the park, returning each evening to SBH was such a treat and so relaxing! Watching the sunset from the hot tub was amazing.
The house itself was very comfortable, clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. The rules were clear and easy to follow. The views were epic!
Highly recommend!

There was a bug infestation
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayI left after my first night after finding 20+ large bugs dead and alive in every room. The property manager didn’t offer a refund or solution. I worked with vrbo to find a different place.
