The property has a lovely concept, but the property is runned down, walls are falling apart, the same with the furniture. However, the staff is wonderful and very nice.

I like the concept of the property, but it needs to be updated. The internet was almost non-existent.

Excellent Hotel Resort, the Best of the Best -:)

In all 8 Years I have been in The Gambia in several Resorts, Hotels, Apartments, Luxe Lodges, this is the Best, number one for me. The Garden is marvellous too and the swimming pool is Best ever seen, same for the Room. Excellent wuality, nice style and so nice to relaxe. I am realy impressed

The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much selection to choice from. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

The staff are the best and will go above and beyond to assist customers. The breakfast was fine. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most things you would want and need on holiday. The peacocks and other birds that live on the grounds made it a wonderful, unique place to stay. The beds are really not comfortable, unfortunately. Oh, and there seemed to be a shortage of napkins and toilet paper for some strange reason: we did however, find plenty in the shop, some 50 metres from the hotel.
