This place is a dump. They have a pool that doesn't work, a stove with no connection, no fitted sheets on the bed, no towels, provide no extra linens for child and things bite you while you sleep....not mosquitoes either. The staff is very rude and aggressive. The manager hides when there is a problem and send repeated messages through staff staying that she is aware of the problem but fails to provide a solution. I had to walk around with my bags in a foreign country on my first visit.... child in tow.......feeling very scared, sad and vulnerable because I had to get as far away from this place as possible. To top it all off even though I left immediately the missing manager finally remembered how to communicate with me directly and threatened to charge my card for the entire stay because "she can". My credit card company is now fighting the charge. So even though I am now back in the United States two weeks later this bad dream called Paradise Suites Hotel in Gambja is still an issue for me. If you want a good vacation run away from this place. Please go to Gambia and choose another hotel. The country is great and there are lovely accomodations elsewhere.

Dear Ms Pearlita We are sorry that you had a bad experience during your stay with us. This is the first time we've had such compliant especially when it comes to bedding as we pride ourselves in making sure there are adequate and extra bedding when requested. The only complain we receive from you was that the gas to the cooker in the suite was not turned on when you arrived as you preferred to cook your own breakfast. But due to health and safety reason the gas is switched off until it is requested by the guest. The pool was under maintenance couple of days before you arrived, hence why you were messaged that it was not available which you responded back to say that was ok for you as you do not need it. In the end the pool was completed and ready for use before your arrival.
