The pictures did not do this place justice. Cleanliness is a big deal for me and the villa surpassed all my expectations in that area, pristine in all aspects. It had every amenity that we needed including beach floats, beach towels and a foot-bath outside the front door. The loft was an unexpected and delightful surprise and the design and decor of the entire villa made you want to stay indoors and lounge. The proximity of the beach was perfect, the area was quiet and we were able to relax on the lounge chairs for hours, in between swims. The housekeeper Kelly was polite and did a great job with the daily tasks. Lisa, our host always provided timely and pleasant responses to my many questions before we got there and even made sure that we had a Keurig for our coffee. It was a great place to stay and truly worth the money. I will definitely return in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villas are in great conditions and are on the most desirable section of Seven Mile Beach.

Poor communication and wrong bedroom setting

Our reservation was for an oceanfront luxury villa with 2 bedrooms - one with a king bed and another with 2 twin beds. Communication with the property prior to our arrival was great. Upon our arrival we are surprised to find that our Villa had a queen bed instead of 2 twin beds. The other two people staying with us were adults and not a couple and couldn’t share a bed. The manager insisted she had no knowledge we booked the villa with kind bed and 2 twin beds and we had to get whatever she had available. The manager said she cannot guarantee what the guests book. I informed her that the option of a bedroom with a king and queen bed wasn’t even offered at the booking site. We ended up in a very awkward situation and had no choice since the manager didn’t offer any other options to us. I contacted hotels.com who assured me that the manager had information on what was booked. On the next day and after a long time on the phone, another villa was offered which had the view of the wall of the condo next door, which was not acceptable. Overall, terrible communication from the manager and if she cannot guarantee what the guests book, I recommend you make a reservation with the hotel directly because they will even tell you the number of the villa you are booking so there’s no room for “confusion”. On a positive note, the villa was clean, beautiful and quiet. For that I give them 5 starts. Unfortunately poor communication which affected the comfort of our stay. Such a shame.

Hi and thank you for your time in writing your comments and review. I am very sorry you felt my communication was poor. I have taken the time to go back and look at our exchange of emails and we had 5 at least. I re-read each email and there was never any mention about beds, only that you wanted 4 keys to the villa and I had explained that I would have 2 sets of keys for you. I had reached out to you several times prior to your arrival to get your flight arrival information, also to send you your check in instructions. I had sent you another email asking what type of complimentary beverage you would like and you and replied to that email, so I felt our communication had been very good. When your booking came thru, it just came thru as an ocean front 2-bedroom unit. There was no promising of ground floor nor bedding. Each unit is individually owned; therefore, each unit has different bedding. I do my very best to try and accommodate each of my guests' requests but sometimes, it's just not possible. Going thru your prior communications I saw nothing from you indicating that you needed 1 King and 2 twins. I try and be very transparent and honest with my guests, if I had seen this request and knowing what type of bedding the unit had, I would have certainly emailed you ahead of time and told you so that you weren’t surprised or shocked. But there was no mention of this via our email conversations. When you said you needed an extra bed that is why I offered the rollway in which was declined. After I spoke to your 2 other guests that were sharing the Queen bed, I honestly thought they were ok with it. Or at least that is what they led me to believe. When a booking comes in via Expedia/Hotel.com, the system automatically assigns it a unit, it does not differentiate with the beds. As stated, you book a type of unit, ocean front, then everything else is on request. Each of my units are individually owned, have been completely remodeled, redone and are very well appointed, furnished and taken care of. Because each of my units are also individually owned, that owner chooses the types or type of bedding he/she has in that villa. After the many emails from Hotels.com (Expedia) and yourself, I was able to move bookings around and offer you the option of another 2-bedroom ground floor ocean front unit that you could move into the next day. Yes, there is a wall on one side of the unit which many people enjoy as it offers privacy but on the other side, is a full front ocean front walk out. This unit would have had the bedding that you had requested and the location is loved by many plus not to mention the unit is in pristine condition. I am truly sorry that having the wrong bedding ruined your vacation. Everyone can promise things, but just because someone promises something doesn't mean it's going to happen/be available due to varying circumstances. I am sorry if there was "confusion" on what you were booking. The booking was for a 2-bedroom ocean f
