Seven mile retreat
Publié le 30 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayTucked behind the Margarita property on Seven mile; Sunset Cove is a gem. The condo was clean with ocean inspired decor, prepared for cooking, grilling, playing in the pool or snorkeling/paddling the ocean. Because of the man made cove enclosure there is a calm sandy place to swim and snorkel. The south end of seven mile beach has eroded significantly but from sunset cove and to the South there is some shore to walk.

Great stay at Sunset Cove
Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a beautiful stay at Sunset Cove. The home has everything you need for a week away. We used the kitchen for breakfast everyday and it was so nice to have a fridge and freezer to store food. I wasn’t sure how we’d like the first floor but we loved it! So convenient to just walk out and be at the pool. And also to throw the football right in front of patio. Great communication! I’m a planner so maybe a bit earlier than just days before, but overall, a perfect stay!

Beautiful Condo
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at Kathryn's condo at Sunset Cove. The condo was very well stocked, comfortable and beautifully decorated. A perfect location to tour the island. Pool was fantastic. All the amenities of home. Lots of great restaurants close by but also nice to stay in and enjoy the patio. Sunsets at the beach were amazing!

Grand Cayman is amazing. The beach and amenities at this complex are amazing.

Sunset Cove Paradise
Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWas such a wonderful stay. The artificially built cove was spectacular. Had one person very fearful of the ocean and was snorkeling by the end of the week. Spent hours floating, snorkeling. Great reefs just outside the cove! Perfect size for three of us. Easy to get to airport, grocery stores, restaurants, Georgetown. Communication with the owner was superb, check in a breeze.condo was stocked with everything you would want to cook, hang out and play! Went to the swim up bar a couple of times in the pool but were mostly at the beach! Sunsets were phenomenal!
The only thing that caught us off guard was when you pull in, the hotel in front is abandoned and in disrepair but behind it is beautiful Sunset Cove!

Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall very good. The host was very good at communication. The property was well maintained. Beach and pool access excellent. We spent a lot on transportation as it was too hot to walk to the restaurants. They were not as close as we thought they would be. The grocery store was not close enough to replenish creamer and coffee, etc. however, plenty of places to buy booze. Good restaurants were always requiring a taxi ride. Vrbo / non hotel stays lack the ease of calling someone to make arrangements for you. However the cab driver that the host recommended was great at helping us make reservations and at showing us the island. Piccoli was best place on property to get breakfast! The hotel attached to/in front of the property is closed and in bad need of repair. You must walk through that area to get to the second bar, and to piccolo. They should at least sweep that area until it can be properly repaired. I would stay here again, however I would rent a vehicle.

Thank you for your review of your stay with us at Sunset Cove. The old hotel behind our complex is not part of Sunset Cove and I agree it is in need of repair and is unfortunately not in Sunset Cove's hands to maintain. It has just been sold to a new ownership group and transformations are to begin next year…..
In the welcome package that I send to all my guests in advance of their travel dates is a “Getting Around” information note and restaurant recommendations/ suggestions are listed in the condo. Of course not all inclusive as I only listed ones that I have been to , there are always new establishments opening as well…..I’m sorry that you had troubles but I am very happy that the driver was helpful for getting you here and there and helping with reservations.
Yes, any hotel has a concierge to assist guests with getting around etc and you pay dearly for that service in the hotel resort fees and transportation as well!
I very much hope that you have made some great memories of your stay on beautiful Grand Cayman
