The rooms are in excellent shape and have a refrigerator with a microwave as well. A working TV and Window A/C is provided along with the room and a comfortable spring firm bed.
**Caution the water in the motel has a very strong Iron or Metal smell** Please do take a shower whenever you get home, we aren’t sure if the water has lead in it or not*** Just simply do not use the water for anything other than a quick shower.

Hello, Ryan thank you so much for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your room. To address the water situation, yes it has been an issue, but I'm happy to say that this past Wednesday we had a new system installed to take away the iron smell. Our waster gets tested on a regular basis with the township and we have never had any issues regarding bacteria. It has and always has been 100% safe to bathe in. However the smell sometimes could be a bit much. Thankfully we have since addressed this situation. We hope when you visit again your experience will be even better! Thank you again for staying at the Tay.

Convenient location. Friendly new owners.
Dated rooms and bad wifi but price was affordable for the area.

Jason and Dana are great hosts. They are very knowledgeable about what the area has to offer. Budget friendly place as well

A pure hidden gem. Tay Motel exceeded all of my expectations. The Managers Dayna and Jay were extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to walk to a great fishing area. It was an amazing stay and I definetly will be going back.

The great thing is it's off the hwy and easy to get to. This allows to day trip to a few great ts around t a stop over.
