Just what we were looking for!
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here. The home was easy to get to. The roads from the airport to the house were well paved and painted. We arrived late at night and it really wasn't an issue, of course during the day would be easier. But, overall no problem.
The view from the cabin was great. The jacuzzi was fantastic. Location is super close to Pigeon Forge and not far from Gatlinburg. Oh! We saw a mama bear with her 3 cubs near the cabin. So cute! They quickly passed through.
Some tips for fellow travelers: check out Wears Valley Rd. Look up the General Store. There are several great local stores. Jaspers is another great local spot to have a beer near a waterfall. The Gatlinburg Trail was excellent! Scenic and easy to walk. Highly recommend. Laurel Falls was a steep hike. If you like a workout then you won't mind, but if you was an easy hike then skip it. Anakeesta was a good time. Beautiful views. We did Astra Lumina and enjoyed the light show too. We hit up the Sunliner diner one day and enjoyed breakfast there. They had delicious grits, bacon and biscuits. The scrambled eggs weren't good, but sunny side was.
We loved our stay so much. It was hard to say goodbye.
