Unique TN Experience
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayExcellent stay. The tree house design made for a one of a kind experience with natural lighting and amazing views. We truly felt like we were sleeping in the trees. The location is great: private enough to feel secluded but just 15 minutes from anything you'd need. The highlight of our experience was seeing 4 bears (at a safe distance)- solidifying our Smoky Mountain experience. Our only complaint was that the outdoor areas (patio and deck) were dirty and not very inviting. The hot tub was luke warm and no nighttime lighting. Despite these faults, we would definitely book again.

I wish you had contacted us. Being in the woods and with all the trees, sometimes between guests the deck can get dirtier and cluttered with leaves much more than we would like. Our cleaner would have come back out to address this. The hot tub has a control for temperature, so the warmth is dependent on how hot you would like it. As for the lighting, we will look into how we can better light up the upper deck. The lower area and stairs have lights and we hope you didn't miss that. Thanks for the kind remarks about our place and we hope you will come back and visit our place again soon.

Weekend getaway

Quiet and Serene

The location was in a good place, short distance to gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Definitely would recommend. The hosts were also very easy to contact when we had questions, very nice.

Great weekend stay…but two things
Publié le 29 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayReally cool, rustic treehouse. Great, quiet location! Warm water, ac and updated finishes. Bed was super comfortable and you could tell the place was designed with taking in nature’s beauty. That being said, there were just two things that would have made our stay that much better. There is no place to put soap, shampoo, or razor in the shower. It would have been nice to have a soap rack in there. The second thing was the cleanliness. Floor seemed a bit dirty, and one thing that really threw us was the presence of numerous black flies. We opened only a screened- in window and came to find about 7 big black flies. Not sure where they came from because the screen didn’t look like it had holes. Overall a nice rental with the need for minor improvements.
