"Beyond Blessed" is a beautifully decorated and remodeled one bedroom, one bath cabin, with wood on all of the walls inside, and high-end log furnishings, nestled in the 24/7 Guard gated Shagbark Resort in a great location! You are literally 2 turns and 6 miles (only 10 minutes) from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! Something Great about the Shagbark Resort is all of the cabins are on at least 1/2 acre lots, so they are not stacked on top of each other like some resorts are!

Although it looks like a two story cabin it is not! All of the rooms are located on one level, so there are no stairs to climb, just one step up to the deck, and it is blacktop all the way to the cabin. The bottom level you see is just a very small locked storage space.

"Beyond Blessed" features a beautiful bedroom which has a pine log King size bed with a very comfortable pillow top mattress, a TV in the bedroom with a built in DVD player on the side of the TV, a gorgeous bathroom with very plush towels, a very comfortable reclining leather chair in the open space between the living room and dining room, and in the living room there is a sleeper sofa, a leather chair, a ceiling fan, beautiful aspen log end tables, an aspen log coffee table, a TV on the gas fireplace (in season), and a DVD library with adult and kids movies for your enjoyment. The aspen log table in the dining room is beautiful with 4 swivel log chairs, and you also have a full size stacked washer & dryer room (laundry soap, Downy, & dryer sheets provided for you), a 2 player 60 game video arcade table set on Free play, and Direct TV in the living room and the bedroom, which includes the NFL Sunday Ticket Channel. If you like to cook there is a gas grill (propane provided) on the front deck to enjoy your favorite meals, and the kitchen is fully stocked with Calphalon pots & pans, salt, pepper, seasonings, aluminum foil, clear wrap, paper towels, coffee filters, sugar, and Sweet & Low packets. The large deck in front is the perfect place to enjoy that first cup of coffee in the mornings, relaxed in either one of our Frontgate swivel rocker chairs and listening to the creek across the street, when it’s rapidly flowing. The side deck is the perfect place to relax and soak yourself in the hot tub, while watching the stars after a long day of site-seeing! Place was very nice and well kept. Location was so peaceful away from busy roads and traffic. The drive to the cabin made it fun and enjoyable. Overall great stay will book again. Rod the owner was always available for our needs and answered when and if we called him.

Our weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Our only concern was the trees that had fell and were braced by a limb of another tree. which if it had broken they would have fell on the bedroom. The only recommendation would be to add knobs or handles to the kitchen cabinets so they are easier to open. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the peacefulness of the area. Thank you

Beyond Blessed Cabin

A friend and I planned a last-minute trip to the mountains for the weekend of January 17th-19th, 2025. After looking and looking for cabins that would be available, not too pricey, and that met all our requirements, we came across the “Beyond Blessed” cabin and decided it was the best fit for us! The check-in at the security guard went smoothly, and the cabin was lit up as expected.Rod even messaged us Saturday afternoon and offered us a late checkout on Sunday, but knowing that snow/ice was moving in on Sunday morning/afternoon, we decided to leave early. Also, to add to the weather, Shagbark sent out weather updates Saturday afternoon and continued to send them throughout the day on Sunday, even making the decision to close some of the roads in Shagbark due to the ice! Although we had already left, I thought this was very helpful for the guests there And now to the real deal— The hot tub was a huge hit! The cabin had everything you needed and more. VERY CLEAN and a comfortable bed—a huge win in my book! The only thing I feel needs to be stressed is that the driveway is up a hill on the opposite side of the road—we had to turn around in a driveway and then go up BUT that wasn’t a problem for us! Also, the street numbers need to be placed better where you can see them!Overall, I would highly, highly recommend staying with Rod and Julie at Shagbark! Great community, easy access to things (20ish minute drive into Pigeon Forge).

The Shagbark gated community is beautiful and peaceful. The Beyond Blessed cabin was super clean and the most well stocked rental we’ve stayed in. We have stayed in many over the years. The kitchen is just like home with every cooking vessel and utensil you need to enjoy eating in. The hot tub was so relaxing and the setting is so serene. The only hiccup was the propane fireplace was not working but I’m sure it’s being taken care of. We were only there a few nights over a holiday weekend. I hope we can visit the same cabin again or try another of this owners properties!

Great Mountain cabin

Cabin was situated in the mountains and in a gated community. Property was clean and was exactly as described. Area was quiet without a lot of traffic, which was perfect was in constant communication with the owner who checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Cute Little Cabin in the Woods

This is a very cute cabin deep in the woods. Perfect if you want to be somewhere more secluded and in the mountains. We even were able to see bears a couple of times! The owners made check in easy and the place was clean. I was also impressed with the amount of supplies they had like ziplock bags, soap, and plenty of tissues and toilet paper, some places I've stayed we have had to stock up on that ourselves. My husband and I would recommend this place!

The cabin was very clean and remote from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. We enjoyed the quiet and even saw a bear by our cabin. We had an issue with the dishwasher and Rod replaced it the next day.....great service and he was very willing to take care of us. HIghly recommend this cabin!

Wonderful trip

Me and my boyfriend went for the weekend and had a great time. We got a call from Rod (who was great might I add) a few hours before check-in informing us that we were upgraded to a bigger cabin and we had absolutely no complaints about that. Everything in the cabin was so nice and clean and well stocked. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Beyond Blessed Indeed!

We had a fantastic stay at the "Beyond Blessed" cabin in Sevierville! The cabin was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful mountain retreat while still being just a scenic 25-minute drive to Pigeon Forge. The steep driveway was manageable and typical for the area, and we appreciated the beautiful mountain views. We loved cooling off at the small community pool just down the road, and the hot tub on the deck was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Rod was a thoughtful host, even offering us an early check-in and late check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Though cell phone reception was weak, the super-fast internet and WiFi calling option made it a non-issue. Plus, the full satellite TV selection provided great entertainment when we were ready to unwind. We would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway in the Smoky Mountains!

Description provided matches the cabin. It is up a steep driveway in a wooded community, so there is limited traffic, keeping it quiet. Wifi worked well. The smart tv in the living room worked great to cast a show/video from our phone for our kids, too. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, kid plates, dish ware & items if you want to cook some meals. Paper towels, trash bags, lunch bags, ice maker in freezer, laundry detergent, pool towels, and toilet paper were provided which are a HUGE help when traveling!

Property is in much of a need of remodeling. Floors in bedroom are in an incline and gaps in floor materials. Cabin needs more light. Deck needs to be completely replaced. Property owner cut trees and brush and all was left in front of property. Driveway very narrow and steep and you have to be careful if you are driving a pickup truck. Three lights that light the driveway was not working. Small bugs in and around bathroom sink most of the time.

Great stay at the Beyond Blessed Cabin

The Beyond Blessed cabin was great cabin to stay in. Rod the owner was very informative and very helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the nice gated community and the quietness of the neighborhood. We saw a few wildlife animals and enjoyed the over our time at the cabin. Everything was very close. Definitely am planning on rebooking in the future.

Beautiful, cozy cabin!

My husband and I were delighted when we received a text from Rod telling us that the cabin would be ready for check in early. When we walked in, we felt like we were home. Everything was perfect…just what we wanted and needed for a weekend away. The arcade was a blast to play, too. We loved our stay, and will definitely be back!
