Cabin Description:

Whether you are looking for a romantic cabin for two or a cozy cabin for a family getaway with all of the luxury amenities to make everyone happy, “Mountain Escape” is the just what the name implies. It is the perfect place for individuals, couples, or families wanting to escape from the fast pace life.

Remodeled in January 2022, Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest and has a beautiful view of the mountain and the forest. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and only 10 minutes drive to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.

With a cathedral ceiling and high end upscale decor, the luxury you will find in “Mountain Escape” is evident from the minute you step inside.
The main level boasts a new stainless steel fully equipped kitchen, a new cozy living area with large new smart TV screen, dining table that seats four persons, a queen Murphy bed, and a gas log fireplace, newly remodeled full bath, and large deck that enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, and a spiral staircase that leads to the lower master bedroom.

The lower level consist of over sized master suite with its own bath, a pool table, LCD TV, and an deck with a hut tub.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

“Mountain Escape” is close to all the area has to offer, but far enough away to give you peace, quiet and serenity. Come hibernate in Mountain Escape!

Best VRBO in the Smokies!
Second stay at this location. Great location, amenities, view, cleanliness. Everything you could need for a great vacation very close to the National Park. Will definitely be back!

Communication with property owners is top notch! They were very responsive to questions and advised us of the opportunity to check in early. The cabin was close to town but secluded at the same time. The road was not very steep like some others can be. We loved the electric fireplace downstairs! We would love staying here again.

Incredible Experience in the Great Smoky Mountains
Hanna & Hass were incredible hosts - very friendly, accommodating, and communicative! The space is gorgeous, well maintained, and easy to find. This is a great spot to use as a basecamp to explore the smokies, or as a hideaway to hunker down for a lovely weekend. Be sure to check out the new brewery inside the Mountain Bros. General store!

This cabin is great for a couples get away! Located away from the hustle and bustle but yet convenient to all of it. Cabin life as very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed many local shows with great talent. We never could get the cover off the hot tub but the owner was very responsive . Highly r!

Lovely cabin
This cabin exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean. The owners communicated extremely well and the views from both decks were amazing. Just a tip though take your luggage through the bottom door. The spiral staircase is a tad tricky with stuff like that. The cabin is awesome and we will be back!!

Honeymoon Getaway
We’re from Pennsylvania and this was our first trip to the Smoky mountains. We decided to elope down here and chose to stay in this beautiful cabin for our wedding/honeymoon week. The view is gorgeous, and we will definitely be going back for an anniversary in the future. The house was clean and the hot tub was nice and relaxing. Haas the owner/host was so helpful and friendly with any questions or concerns we had. 10/10 from us

Wonderful Celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary
Your home is just terrific. Very clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed everything about our stay - the layout, the terrific view, the grill, the hot tub and the fire pit. One morning we had a nice visit from a full grown black bear who walked around the fire pit and up the hill beside the house. No confrontation issues at all. He eventually walked off into the woods. Lovely stay and hope to come back in the next couple of years.

Beautiful with minor issues
The downstairs porch light did not work so it was extremely dark at night in the hot tub area. There was a broken glass in the back of the cabinet and all cups/cookware had a white residue which had to be rinsed and wiped off before use. We ended up just using the coffee cups and bought solo cups after the first night. The rocking chairs on the deck are a bit uncomfortable as they sit straight up and the material of the couch can have you sliding around when trying to relax. The dishwasher was full when we arrived and an outdoor utility closet was wide open with a wet towel laying on the ground in front of it. The downstairs bathroom has a bit of a smell. We didn’t use the one upstairs so not sure about that one. Overall it was a fantastic stay in a wonderful location and all these things were no big deal; we would absolutely recommend and would love to visit again.

Beautiful Cabin
The cabin is beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised with the location. It has a Sevierville address but it’s actually closer to Townsend. The spiral staircase is cute and all but not very user-friendly for an elderly man like myself that is a little oversized. There was A very bad odor to the water. So much so that we used bottled water to brush our teeth and refused to shower while we were there. But over all we enjoyed our stay. I would also suggest that they should spray the porch and decks with spider spray before your next guests arrive.
