ATTENTION: We want to ensure you that our cleaners are following Government guidelines to protect you as a guest and themselves from COVID-19. Cleaners are using 99.9% alcohol to clean the entire cabin. This includes door knobs, remotes, keypads, light switches, faucets, sinks, etc.


This delightfully decorated and amply furnished log cabin is a great find. Time Away Cabin is conveniently located only minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge off of Wears Valley Rd. (Light #3). Surrounded by woods will make it a perfect setting for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. This cabin is also great for a family getaway.

The private bedroom offers you a king size log bed with a Roku TV, Jacuzzi tub and full bath. Step outside onto the screened in deck and relax in the hot tub.

The living room includes a queen sofa sleeper, 32' flat screen TV, with Roku, wireless internet, free local and long distance and gas fireplace.

Enjoy the screened in deck with rockers, air hockey/ping pong combo table.

Other amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, gas grill, washer and dryer.

Our cabin is only a short walk to the lake.


Located 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg. With shopping, Dollywood, Splash Country, dining, hiking, live theater, arcades, horseback riding, ziplines, skiing, amusement parks, water parks, and much more just minutes away. You will certainly have plenty to do.

Great little cabin
This was a great little cozy cabin. If I was forced to come up with 1 negative it would be that I wished the TV in the living room was bigger. Other then that the cabin was perfect.

We loved the stay at this cabin. The views are amazing and the cabin is very nice and clean. We loved the jacuzzi and air hockey on the porch. The host is very easy to reach. The city is about ten minutes away. Definitely recommend this stay for couples!

Perfect Spot!
The cabin was adorable! This was the perfect weekend getaway spot! My boyfriend and I loved our time in Time Away. The cabin was remote but not hard to find. There was the cutest Christmas Tree decorated in the living room that made the stay even more magical. It was perfect!

Perfect restful getaway
I stayed here over Thanksgiving with my two children (3,5) and it was perfect. It’s really up a winding mountain road, but we still were able to have groceries delivered. The views and weather were gorgeous from the screened in porch/hot tub. The bed and pillows were comfortable. And the Christmas tree and holiday decorations made us feel right at home. I couldn’t imagine a better stay.

The Stay
It is a little piece of heaven. The property is small but huge for two people. There is no yard outside the cabin. The hot tub was good but not cold enough to use. The house is dated. The book that is left shows google maps from 2013. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was great.

Cozy Retreat
My fiance and I stayed to celebrate my 35th birthday and we were absolutely in love with the size and aesthetic of the cabin. The hand carved wood beams and stone decor really gave it a true cabin resort vibe. The pizza place that delivers out there was delicious but a bit on the pricey side, however jt saved us from having to go back out in the pouring rain. The drive in was nerve wracking as we didnt arrive till after dark and there are a lot of switchbacks, but that lends go the privacy of the cabin. 10/10 would stay again!

We had a great stay at the property! All aspects of the cabin itself were great. The roads to the cabin are pretty narrow, so it is difficult if cars are coming the other way, but this is probably expected out of most cabins in the area.

Very Secluded and Well Kept
The cabin was very nice and clean. Perfect for a honeymoon or a weekend get away. Saw a family of black bears when staying. Nice neighborhood, just a little tricky getting back to the cabin. There is no straight path to downtown and will take you about 15 minutes to get there. Definitely would stay there again if we were in town.

Amazing Cabin!
The road to the cabin was a bit steep but that should be expected in the mountains. We had an amazing stay and it was the perfect little cabin to come back to after a long day in the valley. The hot tub was very relaxing and the kitchen provided a place for us to cook homemade meals! The TVs could use some updating as we couldn’t watch movies on our Netflix but we used the other amenities instead.

This was the perfect sized cabin for my partner and I! We loved the hot tub of course! The check in and check out process went smoothly. Also a pretty easy drive up the mountain. My biggest piece of feedback is that I don't appreciate that I am paying a cleaning fee of $85, but was required to load/unload the dishes from the dishwasher and put them away and also take out the trash. This place is pretty small and I feel like that is manageable for the cleaner to take care of. Not to mention a tip envelope was left to tip the cleaner...Why was that even left when I am already paying a cleaning fee? I know that this is not the only vrbo I have stayed in that has done this but I just hope hosts quit doing this. Overall, I do recommend this cabin for a smaller group staying here.
