King’s Cabin Mtn Retreat at Shaver Lake! – Nr Village, wifi, A/C, Prem Property!

(Now with Central Air Conditioning! A very unique amenity in our mountain community but one that really makes for a comfortable stay on the 90 degree days which seem to be more common lately!)
This family-friendly, pet-friendly, beautiful, two-story home is located in popular Sierra Pines located a little more than a mile from the Village of Shaver Lake.
There are 4 bedrooms (sleeps 14 in beds plus 4 more in a convertible sofa and rollaway beds) and 3 full baths so there is plenty of room for large gatherings and year-round vacation. Along with a full two car garage to keep your vehicles out of the snow and pine needles, the main level features an open floor plan with walls of windows to enjoy the beautiful forest setting. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace surrounded by a stone hearth. The kitchen is accented with beautiful knotty pine cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It is fully outfitted for the chef complete with gourmet knife set, spices, small appliances and everything else you might need to prepare your favorite meals. Off the living room is a large private deck perfect for those summer BBQs. Propane BBQ is hooked up to the house for an endless supply of fuel.
The garage doubles as a 500sf game room complete with 55” TV, Blue-ray, internet video streaming, dart board and ping pong with many other games and activities to be added in the coming months. Living room has large flat screen TV with Blue-ray player and internet streaming. You can play music from your device through the sound system in both the Living Room and the Game Room. Broadband Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
Downstairs there is a full bath near the living room. Upstairs you will find the luxurious Master Suite complete with large Jacuzzi tub along with 3 additional bedrooms and an additional full bath. All bathrooms are complete with granite countertops and knotty pine cabinetry. Our retreat comfortably sleeps 14 with convertible sofas and rollaway folding beds. Our “cabin” is prepared and ready for you to come visit and start enjoying the mountain air at Shaver Lake.
Shaver Lake has year-round activities. In the summer there is water skiing, wakeboarding, and sea-doos that can be rented at the Shaver Lake Marina. There are numerous other lakes, creeks, waterfalls, and hiking trails of all levels of intensity to suit everyone from the casual walker to the most aggressive mountaineer. In the winter there is world class snow skiing at China Peak/Sierra Summit. They have plenty of good quality gear for rent so you can leave the bulky equipment at home and come enjoy the best skiing for literally hundreds of miles.

We had a great time! It’s a beautiful Cabin; clean and spacious. Beautiful views! Kids loved ping pong table in the garage. Had an issue with the upstairs shower. Host responded in a timely manner and settled the issue. Perfect location. Only minuets from shaver lake restaurants. Overall would definitely rent again.

Great Thanksgiving
We chose to have Thanksgiving as a family in the mountains this year and couldn't have picked a better location. Close to China Peak for skiing. The cabin lived up to its description and actually exceeded our expectations. Location was quite and Eric was a wonderful host, responded quickly to any questions we may have had. Will book again

We loved our stay at Kings Cabin Mountain Retreat. Erich sent us directions before we arrived that was very easy to follow and took us straight to the cabin. The check in and check out process was very easy. The cabin was absolutely lovely and clean!!! I loved that there were directions and labels on certain things to provide guidance and directions because I had questions and they were answered without me having to reach out and bother Erich. We had 4 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The only thing that I can say that was not great was the bunk beds. The kids said that the bunk beds squeaked a lot with each movement, so they did not sleep well at night, but other than that, everything else was wonderful. We would definitely do this again.

Although I was alone for a month while working in the area, this cabin felt very homey and comfortable. Check in was very easy. Cabin was clean on arrival and well stocked with basic necessity's. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great location! Short drive to Shaver Lake. Everything you need for a stay. Only thing is all bedrooms are up a big flight of stairs. Good to know if you have elderly or anyone who struggles with stairs.

Kings cabin mountain retreat, Paradise.
We had a very nice time. We all managed to relax and enjoy some downtime. And Malia came up so there were five of us. Everything was so cozy and homey. The house was immaculate. The rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied. We appreciate it very much that we did not have to pack too many supplies because they were all available and of hex quality. It was so nice to have all the supplies that you provided. The weather was perfect for taking walks and going down to the beach. We took a drive to look at, the really huge homes. The drive up there was beautiful even with the detour. There was a nature camp going on a couple doors down with highschoolers who had never really been in that setting. We went over to say hi during their campfire and they serenaded us with John Denver Song country Roads that was a treat. Thanks again for allowing us to stay there.

We had 10 adults stay with us on a snowboard trip. The house was very accommodating and comfortable for our group. The check in and check out process was easy and we had zero issues at this property. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone as it was very clean and an easy drive up to china peak.

Our family of 15 had a great time at Kings cabin. Plenty of space for all of us! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family. It was a real treat having all the coffee we wanted. The garage is loaded w games for the family! All we needed was snow 😩 The cabin is just a 2 minute drive to town. We ran out of paper towels and Erich was quick to get us covered. A few notes to help visitors be prepared: there is no cable so if you want to watch football (or any sports) be sure you either have cable or the necessary apps on your phone so you can share to the tv. There is no “hot tub”, it’s a large and lovely bathtub.
