Great place
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWent up for some R and R. House was very roomy. Loved the big seating area in the living room. Also enjoyed the fact the master bedroom is downstairs as our Gracie is deathly afraid of them. I really liked the owner checking in to make sure everything was good. I certainly appreciated that. Also big plus was the side porch area. Gracie is a bigger dog and she was able to go lay outside as the gates keep her locked in. They have both keurig and regular coffee pot big plus. The counter space was wonderful and they have everything you need for the chef Very nice neighborhood and super quiet. Grandkids are already asking when we can go back. Lake was close and town is maybe a mile and half away. Will definitely be back!

Weekend snow
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayArea very nice . Was snowed in 1st night had to shovel snow to get truck out . Vacasa does not pay local snow removal ! There are 2 snow removal trucks doing driveways but only cabins contracted . unfortunately, this cabin is not contracted through them and they live right around corner !

Snow trip in Shaver!
Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). We would definitely stay at this home again!

Publié le 12 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayBest I’ve rented so far and I rent a lot, the only things I had an issue with was starting a fire and using the Keurig , they provide newspaper to start the fire but even seasoned fire starting individual had a very difficult time starting a fire . The main reason was the lighter provided was completely empty I reached out to Vacasa and they took forever to respond once they did they told me someone would take me a lighter that day, they never came ! When I ask for an update I was told someone would drop one off the following day but to estimate of a time, Mind you that was a big selling point for me in this property so that was very disappointing, I expressed that to Vacasa and all they could say was “Sorry, we know this is not what you expected” and that was that. Fire starters are not expensive at and suggest providing at least one would be very helpful and save people like us 2 hours of our trip in trying to start a fire with just newspaper.
The Keurig, I own one and use one everyday I assumed it was the same but the one at the property allowed all the coffee grounds into the coffee, not good at all.

Spacious Cabin, great for family
Publié le 7 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was clean and spacious. We loved the large windows and the kit hen was very functional. The stairs do not have a railing that goes the entire length, so if someone in your party requires ADA accessibility be prepared. When we arrived the battery for the door code needed to be replaced, and we were able to speak with Vacasa help center to get access to a key, but it was a little challenging because the help center people aren’t as familiar with the specific home because Vacasa manages a lot of rentals. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
