I had not been to the Shawnee Inn since 1972. It was both nostalgic and impressive the care and updates that have been done. Their Inn is sill in a perfect riverfront setting. The bonfire attendant kept the fire lowing! Sitting around the fire looking at the river at the end of the day is a great finish to your day. The brewery, which was not there the last time I was here, is outstanding. We did ther brewery tour with Ian and h truly down joys his jobs- brewing beer and talking about brewing beer! And, he very right to be proud of the bee. Every beer we tasted was outstanding! I will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful location. We only had one night on the premises but would have loved a few more days.

My husband went golfing and stepped in a depression on the 6th green in the blue course and broke his ankle in 2 places requiring an operation 3 days later, needing a plate and 4 screws on his ankle. No one seemed concerned when I told them. We needed help to remove our luggage to the car. One of the men who worked there, I guess a concier tried to help but people at the desk could have cared less. My husband is an active senior but now he is helpless and can't move or drive without help. We have come to Shawnee for over 25 years celebrating every anniversary. I'm angry and hurt on how we were treated. Shawnee has been our second home. Not anymore.
