Shawnigan Lake Waterfront Cottage

Lakefront cottage on West Shawnigan Lake is available for summer rentals. Kitchen, dining and living room open concept with 2 bedrooms on main floor (1 queen and 1 with bunk beds) plus large king size sleeping loft above with spectacular views of the lake through 19' widows. But the real fun and memories are made having barbeques on the huge deck and down at the dock diving into the warm waters of Shawnigan Lake. Surrounded by nature, you will wake up to bright morning sun and the delightful sounds of chirping birds. Serene setting ideal for quiet vacationers who treasure the privacy and tranquility of cottage country with all the modern conveniences. Well behaved pets are welcome.

Fabulous lake front home & location
Everything was very comfortable, like home! Kitchen was fully equipped, which we really appreciated. Beds were comfortable, deck, yard and lake front was fabulous! Appreciated the desk area as one of us needed to work, wifi worked solidly, and loved the big table to play boardgames and eat together. Lovely lake area, great location.

Wonderful cabin on the lake!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this idyllic cabin on Lake Shawnigan. Shelley is very kind and helpful, and she loves dogs!!! We traveled with our son, his girlfriend, and their dog Banjo. Banjo absolutely loved jumping in the lake and swimming to retrieve his toys, and we loved lounging and playing cards on the deck and the porch. It got chilly at night, so the propane heater on the outside porch was definitely a plus. The kitchen was fully stocked, and plenty of clean towels, paper towels, etc. There are even small jars of baking powder, baking soda, etc, if you are into baking. The cabin is about a 20-minute drive to the grocery store and restaurants. For a nice dinner out, check out Alpina Restaurant at Villa Eyrie Resort. Lovely view and incredible food!!! I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

Amazing Lake house
We had an amazing stay at the house. Was a perfect size for our group. Shelley was just excellent from the booking, to check in and throughout. The property is rustic and could do with a few upgrades and we felt it could benefit from a good professional cleaning. none of these things btw impacted our stay or comfort, we had an excellent time and would 100% book another vacation at the lakehouse. A little piece of heaven!
This is an absolute gem, so glad we found this place. We definitely will be back. It is a piece of heaven, the house, the yard, the lake with a beautiful deck. All we could do was sit there and look at the stunning views. The only con is that you have to leave! Shelley could not be more wonderful and make your stay everything that you want.

My family had a fantastic stay at the cabin. More than enough space for the 7 of us, and the private dock was a huge hit for my kids! Beds were really comfortable, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook big meals, and the view inside and out was spectacular. Looking forward to staying again!

A beautiful spot!
This was an amazing lake vacation! The cabin is in a perfect location for paddle boarding, swimming and chilling on the dock. There are lots of winery’s and restaurants around to check out as well. Our summer stay at Shawnigan Lake
This is a wonderful cottage with beautiful views of the lake and easy access to the water. The cottage is clean and well kept with modern appliances. The linens were fresh and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious deck and dock. Shelley was welcoming and informative. She was prompt to reply to any questions or concerns. We had wonderful stay and look forward to a return visit in the future. We highly recommend this cottage to others.

Lovely Shawnigan Lake Cabin
Shelley goes above and beyond to ensure the cabin is well-stocked with provisions needed for her guests. We very much enjoyed her cabin, the excellent dock that allowed us to moor our 420 sailboat, ample dock and deck chairs/table, the comfortable beds, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There was a games chest and cable TV and great wifi. We loved every minute of our stay and would recommend Shelley’s cabin to all!

A little piece of lakeside paradise!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The dock and lake provided hours of fun in the sun in the morning and afternoon hours and the house and deck are beautifully shaded for cool comfort when you need a break from the heat. Property is well maintained and well stocked, and manager is quick to reply to any questions. We were impressed with little details, like a stocked chest of family games which were well utilized by us for family fun in the evenings… there were even flossers in the bathroom which saved the kids a lot of grief on corn on the cob night :). The fact the cottage is pet friendly was such an appreciated bonus, as we really enjoyed having our furry family with us. Hope to be back again in the future!

Amazing on the lake
A great place to swim and relax in the sun, combined with a really comfortable house tucked away in the tall trees. The trans Canada trail is just short walk away and we took our dog every day. Birds by day and bats by night - so cool. We loved our stay!
