Excellent experience
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HotelsI had an excellent experience during my 3 night stay at this hotel. Zeeshan, in particular, deserves a special mention for being the most wonderful host. He was incredibly professional, courteous and always willing to help with any request – nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
Despite the light renovations taking place I did not experience any disturbance at all, which is testament to how well-managed everything was. The hotel’s location is ideal, with plenty of dining options nearby. Additionally, the breakfasts served at the hotel was delightful – a well cooked small feast to start the day.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.

1 towel between 2 of us, water from sink tap poor, light in bathroom kept going off

NO HOT WATER & NO CENTRAL HEATING

Embarrassing…

One star is too many, this hotel is a disgrace and the fact it’s marketed as a “Wyndham Trademark collection” is almost hilarious. The 3 rooms I booked were all the same so this clearly isn’t an isolated incident or an oversight. The rooms were filthy, carpets heavily soiled with what looked like blood stains and definitely hadn’t been hoovered in a while, covered in cigarette burns, cobwebs everywhere, damaged furniture, strong smell of vomit, mouldy showroom, damp stains all over the ceiling, broken toilet seat and to top it off the toilet had urine in it on arrival. Simply appalling!
Staff when available weren’t approachable or at all welcoming, the check in experience was all a bit vague, to the point where we had to look for our own rooms. No one around at checkout so we simply left.
To put it bluntly this place is a shambles and a health hazard, definitely living up to its STAINdrop name
