grandparents week at the lake and beach
Publié le 6 août 2022 sur HomeAwayover the week we had 6 grandkids along with parent at various times to spend a few days digging in the sand and walking the beach----one highlight was the nightly fire on the pit with amazing sunset view making smores and telling ghost stories.
The house was amazing of efficiency. A covered open porch for the one rainy day . The owners built this with quality and top notch furnishings. The nightly solar powered lawn lights gave a beautiful surrounding for the sunset and moon cast on the water. thanks to the Ripmasters to allow sharing their besutiful home on the lake

The posting is accurate and this is clearly a house that is used by the owners and has everything you need for a week at a beach house (tons of beach towels, kitchen & bath towels, soap, pans and even coffee!). We had the beach almost to ourselves and a constant breeze kept us comfortable while it was very hot inland. We enjoyed fires in the evening and there was plenty of wood. Cell service is pretty much non-existent and WiFi is very spotty but a few people had work video calls and managed okay. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful spot rift on the lake

Loved the family history and coziness. Kitchen was very well provisioned to cook all meals there. We would love to visit the “Haus am see” again!
