Ocean Front Inn looks great on line, but is not well maintained. Bedroom window shade would not drop. Dishwasher d was not working. View window onto ocean was very dirty. Check in was by envelope, but instructions did not include a map of the property. No grab bar in bathtub.
The kitchen was well equipped with good appliances, a good selection of pots,, pans and kitchen tools, and good silverware., Refrigerator and stove were excellent.

This is my second stay inside of a month. The first time the room was as depicted on the internet. This time we were placed in the wheelchair accessible room. We did not request or reserve it. It was a shock when we entered. We had to contend with loud revealers from the bar during the night. My husband got up and opened the door and they moved on. Then at 6 am the kitchen crew in the adjacent restaurant came in and blasted their music so loud, the bass thumping kept us awake after that. Rough night 🙁

Good afternoon Darci,I took a look into your reservation to see what happened with your room booking. I assure you that no one at the hotel changed your reservation. It is exactly how booking sent it over to me and I am so sorry you were not happy with the room. We will begin renovations on the rooms next month. As far as the noise I am very sorry about that and will talk to the staff next door. Blinds broken, could not shut for privacy. No heat. Hard to find.

Our sincerest apologies for the situation with the blinds and the heat. I am always available to help and live close by. The blinds pull down by hand in that room and there should of also been a space heater in there as a substitute until our heat is repaired. A Hidden Gem
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HotelsOur family loved everything about our stay. We fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean, and woke up to seal, otter, dolphin, deer, and turkey vulture viewing from our balcony.
The small restaurant/coffee shop was spectacular. You really can’t beat this place. We toured the small town and had no regrets about our choice.
You must also go to the local brewery/restaurant in town. It has outdoor live music, games, and of course delicious food.

Let’s start with the positive- the view is exceptional.
The Inn is very run down. My biggest complaint is upon entering the room, there was a horrible smell. Turns out it was a gas leak from the furnace. Yikes. The manager (?) walked me through shutting off the gas and provided a small electric heater.
The balcony was dirty, the screen door was coming off, there is a cut PVC pipe used to lock the balcony slider. Etc.

I am so sorry you didn't have a positive experience at our hotel. I appreciate your feedback and direct it back to those making decisions on renovations which we are in the process of. This winter these rooms will be updated, and I hope you give us another chance in the spring when complete!
