Cozy Apartment in a Great Location

The manager host was responsive to our questions, and the unit itself was comfortable and well-stocked. We particular enjoyed the location, only a brief walk from the charming main strip, where we enjoyed meals and snowy walks. Made for a delightful weekend escape!

Well renovated apartment
Publié le 15 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was recently renovated, with a clean contemporary feel, and is in excellent condition. Location is indeed just a few (walking) minutes from the Main Street, with its restaurants and cafes.
During our stay, the road outside was being resurfaced (along with many other roads in Shepherdstown, it seems). This meant that the noise from passing vehicles was louder than it would normally be - we assume this is a temporary problem.

The apartment was clean and cozy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower. We appreciated the water bottles in the frig and the snack pack of popcorn. As advertised east access to downtown Shepherdstown.

Wonderful stay in Shepherdstown

We were able to easily walk to restaurants (I would recommend Alma Bea, Blue Moon Cafe, and Lilah) and also nearby places of interest, such as the Riverfront Park and the Rumsey Monument. It was also fun to trace the Town Run through town (it is a small creek fed by a spring south of town that runs north through Shepherdstown to the Potomac). The location of our stay was awesome, and the apartment itself was clean and well-appointed. If we return to Shepherdstown, we will have to stay again. Thanks, Zeb!
