Lovely hotel in its heyday! So sad to see it rather run down. The staff are excellent and probably spend a fair bit of time apologising for the things that are not working or not available. Come on owners help your staff!

Unfortunately stayed here for daughters wedding arrived late in night room 30 no heating on freezing cold bed felt damp the next day tryed using shower Unfortunately shower was faulty as only boiling water came out couldn't have shower unless i got burned and went to a and e aswell reported it staff didn't do anything except say sorry or offer any help to solve problems and tbf not cheap to stay there so Unfortunately first time there never again beware

Windows in the bedroom and bathroom were very dirty, the hotel is very “ tired “ and needs a lot of money spending on it.

Unpleasant stay
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HotelsTired hotel with a faint smell of I don’t know what permeating the whole hotel. Mattress was very cheap and very uncomfortable. Shower head was broken so had to hold shower hose while showering. All in all, not a place I would book in the future.

Flaking faint on exterior and interior walls. Boarded up windows, signs of damp on bedroom walls. Oh, and I had also found broken glass on my bedroom carpet!
Never written a review before, however this time I thought it was necessary….. Grim!

Breakfast was absolutely terrible - they ran out of food! Also, staff shortage!
