Nook on Nevins lake
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe very much enjoyed our stay on Nevins Lake at the Nook. Very clean! everything we could need in the kitchen and the bathroom supplied. We were very comfortable, loved the lake, though too cold to get in in November in Michigan. We hope to come back in warmer times and make use of the kayaks! They thought of everything, and were very good to work with, communicate with. We recommend staying here for that much needed quiet break!

Fall Break
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed here with our four children for a long fall weekend and had a great time. The kayaks were a hit with the kids as well as having a nightly fire. We hiked chapel falls and Rock which was the second favorite activity. Definitely would return.

Peaceful and very welcoming home

Our host Nick was very friendly and the communication was the best that i have encountered in all my stays with Vrbo. It was a little tricky finding the cottage. But Nick quickly got back to us with directions. the cott

Perfect fall getaway
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was everything we expected. And more. It was cold and rainy and windy the week we were up there and we were able to have a fire two of the four nights. We tried to brave the weather and sit at the end of the dock on the bench, but didn’t last very long. The view, however, was spectacular! so is the view sitting in the back porch area looking out over the lake. Nick was very response and answering any questions and giving us suggestions on where to go. We loved this place so much. We’ve already booked it for next year!

Nick was an excellent host and even helped us with a problem we had with our boat so we could enjoy the lake even more. The loons were the highlight of the lake. Thanks Nick!

Better Than Imagined

SxS riding vacation
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location for us to ride trails in multiple areas, with easy access. Host was extremely helpful. Wonderful place, beautiful lake, and lots of outdoor amenities to take advantage of.

Surpassed expectations in every way
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent a week at this beautiful cabin in the most picturesque area we have ever stayed! Spacious, clean, and well appointed lodgings coupled with friendly, helpful, and easy to reach hosts made this property and vacation our favorite U.P. adventure yet. From the little touches-Lego sets and puzzles for all ages along with playground equipment outside, tthe well appointed kitchen and outdoor space, to the scenery of Neven's Lake, we were blown away for our entire stay. We loved this property and could not have had a better time. If the hosts would have us we would love to come back in the future!
We are a group of novice fishermen. We had the best collective and individual fishing experiences of our lives from the dock of this incredible property. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful property
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for myself, my husband, our 2 year old son and my parents. We brought our dogs as well, they were able to run around the yard and swim and be with us while we enjoyed the beautiful weather without being on display or “distracted” by neighbors or other dogs. We did have to reach out to the host for a propane refill, the tank was quite low and we brought a weeks worth of grilling food! The host was quick to respond and sent the cleaning staff over. We ended up asking the cleaning staff when they arrived for more toilet paper as only 2 rolls were left for 4 adults for a week (one being pregnant and using the restroom A LOT!). After she left we noticed there were no extra trash bags either. We ended up making a trip to town and purchased some. However, we felt the cleaning staff could have been a bit more attentive to refilling and prepping the cabin for our visit.

It sounds like you had a great time, but you caught us a bit unprepared. I'm thankful for your feedback, as it allowed us to get on the same page with our amazing support person. I don't know what we would do without her. Again, all in all I'm glad it was a great experience and am thankful for your patience and understanding. We used it as an opportunity to improve moving forward.
