Lovely, helpful staff. Very caring and highly accommodating for my needs (I am disabled). The garden room was fabulous. Comfortable, clean, beautifully designed. What a fabulous place to stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Booked for a group of friends to celebrate a 60th birthday and Darwin's didn't disappoint. Decor and furnishings were stunning, bed extremely comfortable and shower hot. Definitely will stay again.

PERFECT place to stay, in every way! FIVE STAR!

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staf really friendly and helpful, the bed super comfortable with little touches like a flask of water in the room as well as the usual tea/coffee, biscuits etc. The highlight for me was the breakfast which was FABULOUS and included options for gluten-free/wheat-free/vegan etc, they seem to have thought of everything! Nothing was too much trouble either - they were happy for us to have a slightly later breakfast as we did the parkrun! The other thing is the hotel is bang in the centre of town but down a side alleyway so it's very quiet (we had a room overlooking the garden in the modern building behind) and there's parking, which is another huge plus!
