Very relaxing place to stay

Lovely week

There were many thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring the area and i would recommend the Park and Ride to go into Shrewsbury. We hope to return in future!

Wonderful, relaxing, peaceful and spacious
Publié le 1 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a super stay in Hook-a-gate at this spacious and very well presented and equipped cottage. Nora was a lovely host and left a generous welcome basket. We like to try different places and never stay in the same accomodation twice, but I’d definitely make an exception for this lovely property in a great location to explore Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. Thanks so much Nora.

Excellent Cottage in quiet location for exploring Shropshire

Greeted with a lovely welcome pack including milk, eggs, bread , butter and biscuits . Bathroom and shower on the ground floor and lounge/kitchen (one room) on the first floor with outside sitting area if the weather is warm - lovely views.
Great base to explore this part of the world as we visited Powis Castle and charming village of Ludlow both about 45 minutes driving. Shrewsbury 10 minutes max is also an excellent walk around with lovely gardens etc
