Planning an epic get away? Eagle River B and B is just the place to make memories!

Halfway between Calgary and Vancouver, in the foothills of the Monnoshe mountains, sits the Beautiful Shushwap with its white sandy beaches sparkling lakes, and rivers. Your journey here will be incredible as you drive through stunning mountain ranges, with massive cedar, fir and hemlock, pass incredible lakes and rivers. Upon arrival let’s take a walk around this amazing 3 acer retreat. Following the path along the house down to the pond your senses are filled with the perennial and rose gardens that line the path as we look over the pond with its dragon flies dancing over the water. Follow the path through the towering cedar forest over the bridge and along the snow melt creek to the beautiful tranquil Eagle River that calls you to take a paddle to one of its sandy beaches or take a dip in its clear cold waters. Up the path there is a huge fire pit that overlooks the river perfect for swapping stories and roasting marshmallows. And just around the corner hammocks to relax in while looking down over the lawn where there is lots of room to toss a frisbee, play croquet and many other fun games. Hungry? The Bar b q area, and lower patio sits under the rooftop garden beside the beautiful rock stairs to the upper decks that overlook the whole yard. This 3500sq feet house takes comfort to the next level with its spacious rooms, beautiful kitchen, living room, mason fireplace and all the comforts of home.

Kitchen has new black stainless steal LG appliances and comes complete with all pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, cups, plates ect. needed for you to cook your gourmet meals. Come rest, relax and be catered to at this this three acre oasis that is home to the Eagle River B & B. Here, the tranquility of the forest, clear sparkling river, and the splendor of the mountains provides an escape from the demands of everyday life. Enjoy Kayaking the river, relaxing in a hammock, playing lawn games, kicking back on the patio that over looks the pond, swapping stories around the large woodside firepit, or soothing those muscles in the hot tub and Sauna.

Exceeded our expectations
Our family(of 14) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved access to the river, canoeing/paddle-boarding/swimming in the river, cycling on nearby country roads, plenty of games available, and nearby access to beach and hiking. Excellent accommodating support by the hosts. Listing notes need minor updating but a GREAT location and plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Oh, and the hot-tub was also well used by our family.

Enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is so beautiful and the house is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the river on the rocky beach while the kids swam in the river. The kids loved playing in the forest and on the obstacle course. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck and lower patio. We played darts, lawn games and badminton with the items provided. There was enough room in the kitchen and dining room to seat and feed 14 of us. Loved having six bedrooms and 4 full baths. Everyone had their own space. Also appreciated use of the laundry. All in all a wonderful stay.

Great location
This home is on a beautiful acreage with a mix of open lawns and deep cedar forests, all along the beautiful Eagle River. The outdoor areas are beautiful: great patio furniture, well-kept lawns, along with great swimming, paddling, floating, and a rope swing on the river. The home itself is good, with ample bedroom and washroom space and an interesting library. However, relative to the number of bedrooms/ occupancy capacity of the house, there could have been more indoor common space (dining, living room). We were also disappointed to find the advertised hot-tub unavailable. But overall, a great location, with friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive hosts.

Great Place for Large Group
We had a wonderful time staying at this place. We had a large group of 12 to 14 adults between two families and it accommodated us very well. All the rooms are large and the pictures are accurate. There is also plenty of space for vehicles. Mary and Josh are excellent hosts. Thanks for the great stay.

Even though we were there in the winter, this property is really beautiful. The house is good with lots of rooms and bathrooms. Lots of room for parking. Great for a group.

Beautiful property
The property was beautiful. Having the river right there was a very nice feature. The hosts were very friendly. The house was nice and big, it accommodated our party of 9 nicely. We asked if we could have a few friends over for a BBQ, and Mary was totally fine with it, even though it turned our group into about 25 people. Lots of outdoor seating for the extra friends that came to visit. The one thing that isn't really mentioned in the add is that if you have dogs, they are required to be leashed on the property at all times. The hosts dogs stay in a pen in the middle of the property, so it kind of limited where we could take our dogs, as one of our dogs gets over excited when he sees new dogs. All and all the house and property we're beautiful though, and we did thoroughly enjoy our stay

Peaceful Retreat
This home and property were a beautiful quiet place to rest and enjoy time with family and friends. Lots of space both inside and out. The kids liked the big yard with games provided by Mary and loved being able to go fishing down at the river in the mornings. Would highly recommend.
