A Bliss in the Sea of Misery
Publié le 15 sept. 2023 sur HotelsWe have tried many different hotels during our month long stay in Morroco. At the the below 50 Euro benchmark, no other hotel came even close. Most came with dirty rooms, swarms of nasty flies and a meager breakfast of one egg and a toast. Not the Marabou! The rooms were spotless, breakfast was scrumptious, and flies stayed elsewhere.

We were hosted by Omar the owner and his staff of the hotel and
I higly recommend that place for many reasons:
First Omar is really kind and welcoming person who cares about his guests and he makes you really confortable at the first step, you feel like at home.
The place is super clean.
Really nice rooftop wiew on the village and on the sea for romantics sunsets or yoga session.
The staff cooks really good and fresh Marocain pancakes for the breakast.
There is a nice parking for easy check in.
In the same building there is rental of surfboards and lessons
the boss can give you some tips around like to rides horses or buy marrocain specialities, it's located also very close to Essaouirra.
On the top of that there is many cheap and really good restaurants so close for fresh grill fish or tajines etc ...
So we definitely encourage anyone who wants to have a great stay in
sidi kaouki to book here and support this great team.
Thank a lot, we were so grateful to be there.

Ps: we forget to mentioned there are marvellous donkeys in freedom in all village.

Idyllic Respite
Publié le 30 mai 2017 sur HotelsI loved staying here. It is quite isolated compared to most touristy spots and that provided a great space to regroup before heading back out to Marrakech, Fes etc. Lovely long stretch of beach too. Everyone at Auberge du Marabout was lovely; Karine, Hassan, Fatima. Loved all the cats, donkeys and goats too :)

Fine
Publié le 6 août 2013 sur HotelsWe stayed one night. Breakfast not included and this didn't become apparent until we were leaving. Simple room, shower a chilly dribble but ok for night.
